First marathon - CHESTER 3hr58

I enjoyed it before the pain cave and the last 5k. It's interesting.

I just want to thank Emini Adegbenro for putting up with my bu****it and getting me there. 16 weeks ago I messaged Mini to help with my running. Id hit a brick wall and just couldn't get my pace / breathing sorted. Posture went to f**k and I was falling out of love with it.

Within that space of time he has got me;
Loving running again
PB; 1hr 41 Half Marathon - warrington
432 miles in the space of 16 weeks 👀
Met amazing people

If you want to up your game with running, he really is the guy to help you.

Now it's time to change the plan and get a 5k under 20mins 👀 10k around 44mins. Always have a goal in sight

Can you do first aid on your dog?

I knew this dog would be a liability when he ran into a goal post and cut his head when we first got him. 😂

With him being such a large breed and I've seen dogs his size not like touch and it's something I'd want to avoid. So since he's been here we practice this at least 2 X a month.

Today I noticed he'd cut his paw/side when we got back home after a walk. So I just got the stuff needed. Kept other dogs in the garden too, as I believe multi dog households should have control of the others during first aid. Not coming over and getting in the dogs face etc.

Ranch wasn't bothered until the nail got stingy, which he jumped up. Which is fine, we stop and start the steps again..

BA Canine Distraction Class.

The day it became fun for the owners and the dogs tried to sit back and relax.

Watching their owners play fight with noodles, throw ball at each other, fly kites and fill up balloons was tough.

We added the open den door to a strange sight and a teddy dog. Expecting the unexpected.

Laying down on a stink bomb mat, getting toys threw at you is asking for trouble.

All the dogs smashed it & I'm sure the owner had fun.

Thank you to & for bringing their family cats & getting the videos for me whilst I'm having fun in the dinosaur suit.

Bootle firework shop for the flares and smoke bombs if any owners want some😂

Separation anxiety doesn't have to be a lifetime sentence. 🐾

You don't have to live your entire life on a clock, constantly stressing about who’s going to stay home with the dog. You can teach your dog to be calm and confident on their own—it just takes the right guidance, time, and consistency.

Is it an overnight fix? No. Emotions can run high, and it's definitely a journey. But the payoff? Unbelievable. The relief when you can leave the house guilt-free and come home to a relaxed dog makes every bit of work worth it.

BA Canine Services and Beyond the Lead are teaming up to bring you a 10-week Off-Lead Programme.

The idea is pretty simple: helping you and your dog get to a point where you can enjoy more freedom together, without every walk feeling like you're worrying about whether your dog will come back, what they’ll do when they see another dog, or whether you can trust them off-lead.

We'll be working through everything from the basics of engagement, right through to recall and putting those skills to the test in real-world places.

Groups will be kept really small so there's plenty of one-to-one time, and we can make sure everyone gets the support they need.

The first group will be starting at the end of September.
