Poppy is one of my older girls I have on my books, absolutely hates her legs/feet being groomed, suffers from a few health/skin conditions and has some severe hair loss on the top of her back! But we always take our time with her. Shes a sweet old girly in her ripe age if 14 🥰❤️🐶

Hi everyone, thank you to everyone of my customers I really appreciate you keeping me so so busy over the past few weeks! I appreciate all your support.

Over the past few weeks some of you may know, my family have lost a dear family member close them and this has had a huge impact on my personal life and working life. Trying to support my partner, and support my step children around navigating the loss of loosing their mum this has been difficult to navigate. This is not going to be an easy road for my family, a lot of adapting and a lot of grief is coming our way! I hope all of my lovely clients will continue their support over the next coming weeks.

I can only apologise for any swapping and moving and changing appointments that have occurred these past 3 weeks.

On 13th of August until Sunday 16th August I will not be contactable as I will be supporting my family around such a hard time. Please understand and respect my absence.

After that I will be taking a few extra days off on 19th- 23rd to spend time celebrating my partners birthday and my sons birthday. My contact will be limited. I will be back to normal as of 24th August! Any changes I will keep in contact.

Thank you for all your recommendations. I really do appreciate it. I just feel awful telling people i have 0 appointments for weeks at a time.

Hi! Let me re introduce myself!
My name is Sian and I am a mobile in home dog groomer. I started my business nearly 5 years ago after leaving a career I worked so hard to get! A career I thought I loved! I fell pregnant with my beautiful little boy and realised I need a change! Something more flexible, something more me!

So when my little boy was 3 weeks old I decided I would go to night college and train to become a dog groomer! I didn’t know where I would go after training and qualifying.

I tried volunteering? Hiring a table, even looked at working for someone else! Realised none of these options was for me! So I bought all my equipment and thought I would trial out working in people’s homes! I chucked all my stuff in the boot of my car! Set up in peoples homes and cracked on! And it was the best move I made!

I had a few rocky moments where I was ready to give up, but instead I changed how I worked and evolved my business! Learnt new skills, new trades and new ways to work! I have the best and loyal client base I could ask for! E have the bestest conversations and relationships! I get my customers and they get me! I am so so grateful for each one!

So here I am almost 5 years into my grooming career! I’m glad I took that leap! The opportunities it’s given me, friendships that have blossomed! I would never change it for the world!

Take that risk! Take that leap of faith! It will work out even when it gets rocky ❤️❤️❤️

As the heat gets hot again for the 3rd heatwave this year! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE! Do not walk your dog in the peak of the heat! Keep their walks minimal and early morning or very late evening!
Do not leave your grooms last minute cause your dog is too hot/struggling with the heat! I can not accommodate you unfortunately due to being full/other work commitments. If you are booked in please be aware I can not work outside as the temps are too hot for me and the dog! Grooms may take a little longer due to keeping the dog safe and I will be requesting water for the dog on a regular basis.

This is meant to be a long heatwave so over the summer if it does get unsafe due to the heat I will be moving people/dogs around. Please understand. This is a struggle of both myself and the dog.
