Chloe: How cute is Snowy. I saw him today for his regular groom. He is such a fluffy boy and as he had no knots I could go right in with my moulting comb to remove his shedding fur. Once that was done I trimmed around his fluffy bum to help him keep it clean and trimmed his nails.

Chloe: How cute is Poppy. I saw her today for her regular sanitary trim. I always start by giving her a check through with my wide tooth comb as she sometimes has a knot or two, today she had some around her back legs. I needed to shave one as it was too tight to comb out but I was able to gently comb out the others. Then I trimmed around her fluffy bum to help keep it clean, afterwards she loved a fuss and was giving me headbutts.

Chloe: How cute is Millie. I saw her today to give her a good groom, she has recently finished treatment for cancer and her fur had become matted in places so the knots needed to be removed. I combed through her fur using my wide tooth comb to start as it doesn't pull as much on the knots and I was able to comb all of the knots out on her back except for one as it was too tight and needed to be shaved. She also had some tight ones underneath on her back legs and they were shaved out when I was trimming around her bum. To finish I gave her nails and trim as they were quite sharp and could get caught on things.

Chloe: How cute is Barry. I see her and her 3 friends regularly for claw trims as they get very long and can get caught on things around the house. While I was visiting I noticed she had some little clumps on her back leg so usually my wide tooth comb I begin to remove them which at the time she wasn't impressed about but after they were gone she came back for fusses.

Chloe: How cute is Sami. He came in today for a possible bath but he's a nervous boy and really didn't like the drier so I gave him a dry groom instead. I used borh my moulting comb and purple zoom groom brush to remove his shedding coat. I trimmed his nails as they were rather sharp this will help to stop him getting them caught on things at home. I used my dry shampoo to give his fur a clean without needing to get him wet, after I'd combed it through I used my lavender conditioning spray lightly over his coat and combed it through slightly. After he was done he got straight back in his carrier ready to go home.

What a mountain of floof! Can you believe it all came from short haired cat Darcey too 🫣 She is brushed regularly but still needs a full groom from me to help her keep on top of this ridiculous pile of fur and shed undercoat.

Shes getting a bit older now and has more human siblings plus a new home so life is a lot more chaotic.

Don’t forget your short haired cats need attention too 💜

After my birthday on Friday and The Cat Show Live all day Saturday I’m following new kitten Astrid’s lead and taking this week off work for some much needed R&R 🐈‍⬛💜

Chloe will be around as usual grooming cats and keeping up with messages. She has my work phone and I am going to a cabin in the middle of nowhere for the next few days with no WiFi or phone signal 🥰

Will miss you all but be back and ready to go again next week 👍🏻

Chloe: This is lovely Noah after his appointment today. He doesn't need much done just a quick check over with my combs as he occasionally has some small knots on his back legs and I brush out his shedding fur to prevent any other knots forming. Luckily today he didn't have any and his fur was lovely and shiny, I also trim his nails as they can get caught on things.
