Cool dogs wear smart tags 🫡
We’re big believers that dog accessories should be fun, and even better if they can be clever too!
That’s why I love our NFC smart tags. They look like your usual cute TagLab tags, but there’s some pretty cool tech hiding inside.
Basically, if someone taps your dog’s tag with their phone, it’ll open their very own digital profile. Contact details, medical info, microchip number, all the important stuff in one place (including links to their socials!).
Because dogs deserve nice things. And smart things. Preferably both 😉
Okay, but how does a smart tag actually work? 👀
It’s surprisingly simple. Each TagLab smart tag has a tiny NFC chip built inside it.
Here’s how it works:
📱 1. Download the TagLab app. (It’s free to create your first profile) Add your dog’s photo, contact details, medical info, social media accounts, website links or whatever you fancy sharing. Whether it’s a pet ID, a digital business card or a way to get your dog a few more Instagram followers, you decide!
🐾 2. Connect your tag. Link your NFC tag to your profile in the app.
✨ 3. Someone taps your tag with their phone and your chosen profile pops up. They can get in touch if your dog is lost, follow your socials, visit your website or save your business details. No app downloads for them, no faffing around.
📍 4. Get notified. You’ll get a notification when someone scans your tag, and if they’re helping reunite you with a lost pet, they can choose to share their location too.
And the best bit? You can update your details, change your links and switch which profile your tag shares whenever you like, all through the free TagLab app.
Use them on dog collars, bags, keys, luggage or even as a digital business card. They’re not just for dogs!
