Precious Paws Liverpool Our Mission is to be the go-to Doggy Day Care, Training and Behaviour Centre in Liverpool & Merseyside.

Our aim is to make sure your dog is happy and healthy and thoroughly enjoys their time at Precious Paws. There are several choices of environment for your dog at Precious Paws Doggy Day Care Liverpool, and we ensure that groups are small and that all dogs have a choice of where they want to play and rest. Our facilities are self contained within a small and very friendly light industrial park, clo

se to all the major transport links – rail, motorway and airport. We have specifically designed and developed the unit to provide the perfect environment for optimising the experiences for dogs. The indoor arena is approximately 1200 sqf and consists of a sleep zone for rest, relaxation and music therapy. Large play area with toys and play equipment, and not forgetting specially allocated areas for puppies and older dogs. Our outdoor arena is over 5000sqf, which is divided into a play arena, agility arena, and has sandpits, a pool (in the summer) and a number of areas for your dogs to choose to spend their time. We believe that our facilities are second to none, and will ensure that your dog has fun in a safe and expertly constructed environment.

💚 OUR CHARITY OF THE YEAR 2026/27 💚

We’re delighted to announce that our chosen Charity of the Year is Pabs and Pals Dog Rescue Centre 🐾

We’ve followed Ricky for many years, originally through his life with his much-loved bulldog Pabs, and later Diego. Ricky used his social media following and popularity for good, giving something back by setting up the Pabs and Pals Dog Rescue Centre.

The rescue is 100% reliant on private funding and donations, yet they have already successfully rescued and rehomed an incredible 90 dogs of all breeds — giving every one of them the chance of a safe, happy and loving new life. 💚

Over the coming year, we’ll be raising as much money as possible to support the fantastic work they do.

Look out for our Halloween jumpers, hamper raffles, bandana sales, fundraising events and some very special Christmas raffle prizes! 🎃🎄🎁

We’re really looking forward to supporting Ricky and everyone at Pabs and Pals — and we hope all our wonderful Precious Paws families will get behind us too.

🐾 THURSDAY AT DOGGY DAYCARE 🐾

What a Thursday we’ve had! 😂 Lots of winding each other up, zoomies, and some seriously good wrestles from the gang today! 🐶💨

Romeo and Dyl were at it as usual, absolutely non-stop! Poor Dyl didn’t have Nellie in today to save her from Romeo 😂 Enzo was on the wind-up from the second he walked through the door, followed by plenty of wrestling with Jordan throughout the day! 💪🏻😂

Eddie and Henry were having a great game of rob each other’s toy… although neither of them seemed very interested in actually keeping hold of their own toy! 😂🦴

A BIG well done goes to big Jett today! 👏🏻👏🏻 He really came out of his shell after tasting the treats and then wouldn’t leave Shannon’s side all morning 😂 He even got involved with a few or the other dogs and showed us his tricks with ‘sit’ and started ‘paw’ What a star! 😎🐾

What a lovely day we’ve had — lots of controlled madness, plenty of fun and some well-earned relaxing this afternoon. 😴❤️

What a day we’ve had! The morning was absolute madness, as always! 🤪

A HUGE congratulations to our Pup of the Month — CALLIE! 🏆🐶 She has been absolutely pawsome! 👏🏻 She always has us in stitches and is never shy of getting involved. She’s also brilliant at making every new dog feel welcome, happily playing with anyone who comes through the door. ❤️ Well deserved, Callie! 🥰

Arlo was straight onto the wind-up with Callie before having a good old wrestle with Pandora 😂 Kev and Bella were up to their usual madness, while little Annie and Doug were flying around with the morning zoomies! 💨 Leo was also on a mission to get the whole gang chasing him! 😂

🎂 A BIG HAPPY 4TH BIRTHDAY TO TILLS! 🎉🐾 Hope you enjoyed your special day with all your friends! And a huge thank you to your mum for the lovely birthday biscuits from PupcakesbyNed- Michelle 🍪❤️

After all that madness, the afternoon was all about recharging the batteries 😴🐶 with plenty of relaxing and a good go in the Sniffari for some calm sniffing and exploring. 🌿👃🏻

🐾 Crazy Tuesday at doggy daycare! 🐾

What a day! We started off with a crazy morning — we think the whole gang must have had a very lazy Bank Holiday Monday because they came in with SO much energy! 😂🤪

Nellie and Romeo were straight into winding each other up, while Maud and Apollo spent most of the morning having plenty of smooches 🥰💕. Enzo and crazy Ted were loving life with lots of fetch and wrestling, and Misty was busy showing us all her best poses 📸😂.

A special well done to Cooper today! 👏🏻 He had a brilliant 1-hour session playing with Romeo and Woody and did so well making some new friends. What a superstar! 🥰🐾

The afternoon was much more chilled, with lots of relaxing and the Sniffari open to help everyone unwind and have a good sniff around 🌿👃🏻.

Hope everyone enjoyed their Tuesday and had a lovely Bank Holiday! ❤️🐶

🐾 Sunday Puppy Socialisation Class 🐾

Another brilliant Sunday with our puppy gang! 🥰🐶

We started things off with some relaxed work using ‘Touch’ to help the pups focus and get ready for their session. We then added in the 3 D’s… if you come to our classes, you know the 3 D’s! 😉👏🏻

Next up was ‘Let’s Go’, before upping the difficulty and asking the pups to move away from a person or object. Everyone did amazingly well! 👏🏻🥰

Then it was PLAY TIME! 🐕💨 And a very special moment for little Ollie, who started with us 5 weeks ago feeling really nervous. This week he had his first proper play, and he absolutely smashed it! 🥹❤️ What a difference 5 weeks can make!

We finished the session with the pups enjoying their treat towel knots 🐾🦴 while the owners had a chat about all things puppy walking — focusing on the walk itself, the benefits of sniff walks, and how we can make walks enjoyable and rewarding for our pups.

We then moved onto nutrition and the impact food and diet can have on a growing puppy. 🥩🥕🐶

Another fantastic session from our little superstars! 🌟👏🏻 We love watching their confidence grow week by week! ❤️🐾

☕️ THE EMOTIONAL CUP – HAPPY CUP, HAPPY PUP! 🐾

Every dog has an emotional cup – puppies, adolescents and grown-up dogs – and everything that happens during their day can add a little bit more to it.

Walks, visitors, other dogs, car journeys, training, exciting play, new places, loud noises and frustration… even things they enjoy can still fill their cup.

And when too much goes in without enough opportunity to come out, eventually it spills over! 😬
That can look like barking, pulling, jumping up, zoomies, chewing, nipping, attention-seeking, reactivity or simply being unable to settle and switch off.

Quite often we think “they need more exercise” or “they need tiring out.”
But sometimes they actually need less.
❤️ Good quality sleep and rest
❤️ Sniffy, slower walks
❤️ Chewing and calming enrichment
❤️ Appropriate play
❤️ Predictable routines
❤️ Calm time with you
❤️ Time when absolutely nothing is expected of them!

This is particularly important for puppies and adolescents, whose cups can fill incredibly quickly – but our grown-up dogs need regular opportunities to empty theirs too.

Helping your dog decompress can make a huge difference to arousal, reactivity, attention-seeking, general behaviour and their ability to make better choices.

So, if your dog is having one of those days, think about what has already gone into their cup.
Sometimes the answer isn’t another walk, game or training session.

Sometimes they simply need the opportunity to empty it. ❤️🐾

Happy cup. Happy pup. ☕️🐶

And just like that… another daycare week is done! 💜

So many happy faces today — tongues out, tails wagging and absolutely no concern whatsoever for how photogenic they’re being. 😂📸

Our youngsters Bella and Bertie popped in for their nursery sessions too. 🥰 These shorter, specially designed sessions are all about supporting socialisation, building confidence, learning those all-important doggy manners and discovering that daycare isn’t just about going FULL SPEED for 1 or 2 hours! 🤣

Play ➡️ pause ➡️ calm ➡️ play again.
It’s a skill… although some of our crew remain firmly committed to the “play forever” approach. 😂🐶

The rest of the Friday family had a brilliant time catching up with their mates, playing, sniffing, exploring and generally making the most of their last daycare session of the week. 💜

And while the daycare crew put their paws up for the weekend… apparently we don’t. 🤣

☔️🐾 COUPLES DAY AT PRECIOUS PAWS! 🐾☔️

Well, we’ve had some very cute couples hanging out today… 👀😂

We’re not saying romance is in the air at daycare… but there’s definitely been some serious flirting going on! 😂🐶❤️

After all that sunshine recently, the cool coats have officially been swapped for raincoats 🌧️🤣 But a bit of classic British weather was never going to stop this lot!

Plenty of fun inside AND out, lots of play, lots of friendships and some absolutely amazing group shots today. 📸🐾

And because those perfect photos can make it look like we simply say “everyone look at the camera!” and they politely oblige… we’ve included a little behind-the-scenes shot too. 😂😂

The reality: staff making ridiculous noises, waving treats, calling names and doing pretty much anything necessary to get everyone looking in roughly the same direction at the same time! 🤣📸🐶
But when you get THE SHOT… totally worth it! 🙌❤️

🐾✨ Wonderful Wednesday at doggy daycare! ✨🐾

What a bonkers morning we had! 🤪💨 Non-stop zoomies, wrestles and plenty of chaos! Boo & Nova were having the best sisterly fun, while Annabelle & Mabes picked up exactly where they left off last week 😂💗 Annie & Leo were also busy having a little flirt! 👀🐶

And Theo was busy showing us his best bouncer pose 💪🏻😂 — keeping an eye on all the madness!

After all that craziness, the afternoon was much more chilled with plenty of chew toys, relaxing and making the most of the sunshine ☀️🦴😴

What a day! 😂 Lots of fun, madness and plenty of playing from the Tuesday gang!

Eddie & Romeo were on one again 🤣 and the Nellie’s were certainly giving them a run for their money! King Louie spent most of the day demanding his bum rubs 😂 while Enzo was happily on the wind-up as usual!

After a crazy morning, the afternoon was all about chilling out and relaxing once the sun came out ☀️🐶 Lots of happy, sleepy pups enjoying some downtime.
