Save our trees!
Please help save the trees in a conservation area by commenting on the original post.

CAN YOU HELP OUR NEIGHBOURS SAVE SOME TREES?

We have received a message from a Lyminster resident just over the black ditch, which as many of you will know is the Littlehampton town boundary. They are asking for assistance to help save a group of 28 trees that sit in the Lyminster conservation area that are being proposed for removal. The owner wants to completely destroy and remove 21 of them, and cut back the rest.

The trees are located just after the church bend in the area to the left of Lyminster Road (see image).

Technically the window for comments closed last week, but we only heard about the proposal yesterday. It's not too late to add your voice to those calling for a full independent survey to be carried out to protect these trees and the inevitably massive ecological benefits they bring for wildlife. I'm so pleased to able to tell you that I've had my licensing inspection today and passed 😁 with 5⭐, no less 😊.
I'm afraid you'll just have to put up with me for another 3 years 🤣

It's been pretty busy since we reopened 😁. Lots of beach walks in this glorious weather we're having (early or late, obviously 🙂)
We were joined by Manny and his owner yesterday. Great to see them both 🥰

Make home dog boarding license fees fair across the UK

The licence fee has almost tripled since I started 3 years ago. I don't know how Arun District Council can justify the hike. They say that they don't make any profit from our fees and that it pays for admin fees, inspections and animal welfare checks. Presumably, all the other councils have the same admin fees, inspections and animal welfare checks, so how can the fees be so different?

After 6 long months of building work and all that goes with it, Sir Didymus is back open from today 😁
