WARNING TO DOG OWNERS AFTER NEEDLE LACED SAUSAGE ROLLS PLANTED IN BASINGSTOKE

A stark warning is issued to dog owners after needle laced sausage rolls have been found in Stratton Park, Basingstoke.

The police have been informed and are investigating.

Tracy Hook said;
"Dog owners be aware! My son found these in Statton park this morning. Sausage rolls with spikes throughout"

You should be cautious at what items your dog approaches and report anything suspicious to Hampshire Police on 101.

Hi everyone,

So sorry its taken me so long to update you all on Star Pawz situation since Boris's update to the nation.

Unfortunately I don't come baring great news.

I am going to continue as Star Pawz, with walks and day care, however, for me to be able to do this, I am going to have to move my client base from Haslemere/Grayshott area, to my local area of Liss. COVID has had such a negative impact financially on Star Pawz, that pretty much, starting again is my best option. Reducing travel costs to the absolute minimum.

This is a very tough and very reluctant decision I'm having to make. Purely down to the fact that I'm having to let go of the majority of my Stormpooperz. Which I have grown to love individually very much over the time and walks I've spent with them. The bond and friendship I've developed with each and everyone is something I'm most grateful for when it comes to Star Pawz. I can't help but feel like the bad guy.

I'm so sorry to do this to you all, and the last thing I want to do is leave you in the dark. I've contacted Laura at Pawprints for Miles and Georgie at Georgie Pawgie Pet Services and spoke about each of my Stormpooperz and which ones they'll be able to take over for me, if you're happy for them to do so. They're both very professional, experienced, fun but firm Dog Walkers/Pet Services, and I cannot recommend them enough. I will contact all my regular clients individually, so I can let you know which of the girls are able to take on your Stormpooper, and if you're happy to proceed then I can help you arrange to meet them, and we'll go from there.

Again, I am so sorry that this is what its come to, if there was another option to take that would keep Star Pawz running then I would snap it up instantly.

I hope you're all well and coping with Lockdown the best you can. We do have some light at the end of the tunnel now it seems, normality is within reach. Just a little longer.

Afternoon All,

Hope everyone is well and coping with Lockdown!

Just a quick update on my return to walks.

So I’ve decided it would be best for me to return to walks when the UK’s Lockdown rules are lifted or at least relaxed slightly. With the current situation I explained to all my regulars a couple of weeks ago, and then Lockdown being added to the mix, I can’t see things turning around until the rest of the country starts to get back on track. I’m working on ideas and changes I can make to coincide with the rules during COVID, and will update you on those ASAP.

I also stated in my last update that I completely understand if you’re in need of a Walker sooner rather than later and need to move on to someone else. Do not hesitate on this, it is what it is and I 100% understand. It’s not an issue, so please bare that in mind.

Anyway, hope you’re all enjoying your Thursday the best you can! Give me a message/text/WhatsApp if you need me or have any questions.

Evening All!

Hope everyone is well and looking forward to the weekend.

Just a quick reminder that tomorrow (Friday) is my last day for walks before I throw in the (wet, smelly, muddy, hair covered..) towel for Christmas and New Year! I'm sure I've contacted you all personally with the dates, but better safe than sorry! I'll be back to usual services on January the 4th (Monday).

Please get in touch if you have and queries. Don't hesitate!

Have a great Weekend, awesome Christmas and fantastic New Year! Thank you all for supporting Star Pawz this year, and more importantly, keeping me sane by letting me see your Stormpooperz! Its been a damn tough year for all of us, but our stinky fluff heads keep us going! Bloody grateful for that!

Afternoon Everyone,

Just a quick post to say, after the recent news of the UK’s 2nd Lockdown, I will be continuing to work as usual through this one. Please let me know if you have any concerns or won’t be needing me during this time. I completely understand if that’s the case.

However, the Paw-llenium Falcon is due its MOT soon, I will be finding out tomorrow when it can be done, so there is high chance that there will be a day this week that I’ll be unable to work. Fingers crossed it passes, otherwise it may be more than just the one day, but we’ll cross that bridge when it comes to it. I will update everyone tomorrow!
