The aim was all about finding a better way through when he’s unsure, rather than letting the tension take over. Once everything started to click, he gave me some really lovely work and a much better feeling to take home with us ✨

Homeward bound ! 🐴🚛

Heading back home with AL & Winston after a brilliant couple of days training — and safe to say, we’re coming home with plenty of homework! 📚😂

AL was an absolute superstar and made some really exciting progress with his piaffe work yesterday and again today. It’s such a lovely feeling watching him start to understand the more advanced work and seeing everything gradually come together 🙌🏼

Winston… well, Winston as handsome as he is was very much Winston 😂 He certainly made us work for it, but we came away with some really useful tools and a much clearer plan for helping him channel all of that personality in the right direction. 👀🤣

That’s exactly why these training trips are so valuable — sometimes it’s about just training away from home, in a new arena, showing off the progress, sometimes it’s about finding the next piece of the puzzle or just overcoming a sticky transition with some help.

Now to get home, unpack and turn the boys out for a good stretch after travelling ! 🐴📚✨

A brilliant day of training for us 🤍

AL & Winston both had fantastic sessions today, each working on very different pieces of the puzzle.

For Winston, the focus was suppleness, flowing transitions and confidence building — helping him trust himself and the questions being asked, relax into the work and realise just how capable he really is. Little by little, we’re starting to unlock so much more from him and he’s becoming such a lovely ride 🥹

AL needed a little help remembering that when he feels unsure, the answer is to keep moving forward without running off or bunching himself up and getting stuck on the spot. Once we unlocked that forward thought, everything started to flow again…
He also had a play with the piaffe and was a super star ⭐️

No pressure on either horses — just introducing the ideas, letting them figure it out and having some fun with what could be there for the future. They both certainly gave us an exciting glimpse and it’s always really nice having Anna on the ground to advise when needed 🤍

Two very different horses, two very productive sessions and plenty of homework to take away 🍏

LOOKING AHEAD TO 2027 🇪🇸✨

As we begin planning AL’s 2027 season, we’d love to welcome another PRE, Hispano-Arab, Lusitano or Baroque type to campaign alongside him.

Our 2027 plans include:
🏆 British Dressage Competitions
🏆 Area Festivals
🏆 Regionals
🏆 High Profile Shows
🏆 Associated Championships
🏆 MCI & breed-specific competitions

Alongside competing, our horses will regularly attend arena hires, training days and clinics, including opportunities to train with international riders and trainers visiting from abroad.

Based with us on full competition livery, your horse will receive professional training, complete competition preparation and a carefully planned campaign tailored to them.

Also suitable for horses being produced towards sales, building their education, experience and competition record along the way.
