Win a free dog photoshoot with Hazel Dean Photography! Hazel has very kindly given The Pooch Place customers the opportunity to win a free photoshoot (usually £75) and £50 off an image package. I've had both of my pups done, and I have been absolutely thrilled both times. When you come in for your groom, take one of the papers from the side, fill in your details and pop it in the box 🐾

For once I actually had time today to do a groom for my Birdie girl.. have you ever seen a more pitiful face? 🤣
She had:
- Peanut and Pickle deshedding mud mask
- Marshmallow facial
- Artero deep conditioning treatment
.. and lastly I decided to do paint her nails (specifically for dogs, non toxic, only lasts a few days and washes off with a bit of warm water and a toothbrush) 🐾

Well safe to say this week has been WAY too hot 😅

A big thanks to everyone who came early or was patient whilst I rescheduled to a cooler date, its so appreciated ❤️ the aircon has been on full blast and the dryers on a cool setting to keep everyone comfortable

☀️🌡HEATWAVE🌡 ☀️

Hi everyone, the weather forecast has become a lot higher next week than I had anticipated. Whilst I do have aircon, keeping the salon cool when it's over 30°C and I have back to back dogs in is extremely difficult. I will have both the built in unit, and a portable unit by the table to keep the dogs cool. Having said that, if it gets to a temperature that I feel is unsafe I will have to reschedule some dogs (especially large deshed dogs on the hottest days). If anyone feels that they cannot bring their dogs next week, thats absolutely fine, please just send me a message. Thanks so much, remember to keep fresh water out for your dogs and to keep them out of the sunshine 🐾
