🐾 Sid is discovering the joys of a little holiday with us! ❤️

Meet Sid, our gorgeous Cockerpoo who has been coming to us for grooming for many years. And let’s just say grooming isn’t exactly his favourite thing! 😂✂️

This time, Sid is staying with us for his very first holiday! 🏡❤️ After taking things at his pace with some settling-in sessions in daycare and an overnight trial, he’s now here enjoying his stay with us.

It’s so lovely to see a different side to Sid. 🥰 Seeing him relax, enjoy our company and show us his softer side is exactly why we take the time to get to know our dogs before they stay overnight.

And judging by this photo, someone has had a VERY busy morning playing and is now ready for a well-earned rest! 🤣💤

These little moments make all the difference. Every dog is different, and giving them time to build trust and feel comfortable helps them settle in their own way. ❤️

🐶 Thinking about daycare or home boarding for your dog?

We start with an assessment, followed by gradual introductions to help your dog get to know us and our routine before staying overnight.

Handstripping specialists! 🐾

Did you know we have plenty of experience in handstripping? 🐶

Handstripping can be a great option for many wire-coated breeds, including terriers and some spaniels, but every dog and coat is different. We’re always happy to talk you through the pros and cons, explain what’s best for your dog’s coat, and give you honest, experienced advice. Where handstripping is suitable, it’s always our preferred option. ❤️

Meet Milo, our lovely regular Airedale Terrier, who comes in every 4 months for his handstrip! 🐾 His mum has opted for the no-beard look, and we think he looks rather handsome!

We were so busy getting him looking smart that we completely forgot to take a before photo 🤦‍♀️😂 But just look at all that hair we handstripped!

Milo is such a good boy for us, and we love seeing him for his regular visits. ❤️

Not sure whether handstripping is right for your dog? Don’t worry, we’re happy to help you understand the options and find what works best for your four-legged friend.

Apologies it wasn’t included in the Daycare post 🙏

We had the lovely Ralph join us for his daycare assessment today! 🥰💚

He was a little nervous to begin with, but it didn’t take him too long to start finding his feet! 🐶

After having a good wander around daycare and taking everything in, Ralph eventually decided he’d seen enough excitement for one day and settled down for a nice chill with the other dogs by the sofas! 🛋️

22/10/26 (Thursday) 🐾💚

There’s been no shortage of entertainment at daycare today, with plenty of tennis balls flying around, games of chase and a few dogs enjoying a more relaxed afternoon! 🐶😂

Chase, Hugo F, Timber, Nero, Ellie, Rusty, Nessa and Button F have all been busy playing catch, making sure the tennis balls weren’t left lying around for too long! 🎾🐕

Meanwhile, Ellie, Carol and Rusty have been enjoying some chasing and play fighting, while Milo, Marlow, Chewy, King, Mach and Leo have been having their own games of chase and wrestling! 🐕💨😂

Freya, Angus and Riley have taken things at a slightly slower pace, enjoying some gentler wrestling together without all the chaos! 🥰🐾

Of course, not everyone fancied running around! Buddy, Ruby B, Monty J and Bonnie H have been making themselves comfortable and enjoying plenty of cuddles with staff! 🛋️💚
