NEWBIE HARVEY!
After messaging Harvey's owner back and forth for over a year now, I've always struggled to accommodate her dates. However after hearing of Harvey's struggles whilst he's stayed in kennels I just knew we had to get him booked in for a trial night.
Harvey usually struggles with colitis through stress when hes away from his owner. Not going to the toilet..then it ending in disastrous diarrhea and severe dehydration. During our quiet months I knew i wanted him here at Bex&Barks. 🦮🦮
To say I was slightly anxious to board such a worrier...He has been amazing. ⭐️
I worked the weekend around him to reduce his stress. Introducing him to the family in stages as he's also wary of new strangers and men!
The weekend couldn't of gone better. He is happy and content. I've ensured he has had plenty of p**p walks. Extra bowls of water . And we cannot wait to welcome him back. You're one of us now Harvey! 🐶🐶🐾🐾

I really hate AI posts..but..morning off and all that 🤣
Boarding for next year is filling up. Please book in early!! Happy to add a couple of days either side of bookings as I know how hard it is to find flights that are suitable.
We're not accepting any new boarders currently to ensure our regulars are top priority!!!

Kicking off a new week with boarding Puppy Luna! What a good girl she's been🐶🐶..She joined a few of my walks to get in some socialisation..Well done Piper, Simba and Bingo for showing Luna the ropes!
And great walks with Fred, Dexter and Tigger 🥰🥰

Another successful board as Nellie leaves us tomorrow! 🐾💕
It’s been absolute madness for our boarders since June , but every single one of them has been amazing — and most importantly, they’ve all left happy, settled and content. 😊

I don’t usually like to blow my own trumpet, but I do genuinely believe that the reason we have such happy and settled dogs is down to the planning and work that goes on behind the scenes to make sure every stay runs as smoothly as possible.

Every stay is completely individual and tailored to your dog’s needs — from their home routine and energy levels to helping them feel safe, comfortable and settled as quickly as possible.
There’s a lot that goes on behind the scenes: organising, paperwork, weather checking, planning activities and making sure each and every dog gets the care and attention they need.
And amongst all the organising, we’ve had a pretty ‘wooferly’ time too! 🐶😂
Thank you, as always, for trusting me with your wonderful dogs. It really is a privilege to care for them. ❤️
