Hi everyone!

I hope you’re all keeping well and enjoying the slightly cooler weather? 😅

I believe I am currently up to date with all my messages, so if you’re expecting a reply from me and haven’t had one, please give me a nudge as I may have missed your message!

August was a steadier month thankfully, after what I can only describe as my most manic spring/summer in all the years I’ve been grooming!! 😅 however, September is already looking busy, and to add to that, I have a week off booked as well! I’ll be away from the 20th to the 27th September. As always, it’s pushing appointments either side so the run up to, and just after my holiday is already looking very busy!
If you’re going to need an appointment between now and the end of September, please get in touch asap to get booked in!

Hi everyone!!!

Phew!! What a crazy few months it has been 😅 this run of hot weather has definitely ramped up business…obviously spring and summer are always busy periods, but with the sustained high temps, everyone’s been very vigilant on keeping their dogs short and cool!

I just wanted to thank everyone for their understanding over the last few months, with having to move appointments to avoid the heat, starting very early mornings, leaving dogs a bit damp etc! Thankfully I’ve managed to still keep working and just find a way around it and keep the dogs safe and comfortable, but I won’t lie…it’s been stressful! Thankyou for being patient with slow replies…it’s been impossible to keep up with messages and enquiries some days!

However, I can feel it turning a corner! Although we still have some hot weather predicted, we are seeing cooler days on the forecast 🙌
With the school holidays it’s also quietened off a little bit so, if anyone would like an appointment in the next few weeks let me know, I do have some space (not masses!)

Also while I have you, please remember to still be checking for grass seeds!! With how dry and brittle everywhere is, they are being a menace! I’ve had numerous dogs over the last month or so with them stuck between toes, armpits, ears and eyelids!! Please remember to give your dog a flick over and check right up between toe grooves…they’re sneaky little suckers!!

Hopefully see you all soon and in the meantime enjoy the rest of what has certainly been a blazing hot summer! 🥵.

Hi everyone…

Just a quick one to say that I am trying my best to keep up with my messages, every time I work my way through the list it just grows again 😩
I am having possibly the busiest spring period I’ve ever had, I just can’t keep up with you all 😅 but I will be slowly making my way through messages today so if you have messaged me in the last few days, don’t worry, I have received it and you are on the list and I will be getting you all booked in asap!

With that In mind…a tiny little nag 👀 please can you all try and bank transfer either during the groom or once I’m finished. I’m finding that once I drive off, people forget, I forget…and then I spend time chasing payments and checking messages/banking etc and it’s just time I don’t have spare at the moment! I’m working extra hours, 7 days a week to try and accommodate everyone as I know everyone wants their dogs sorting before the warmer weather (comes back 😅) so it would really help me out admin wise! 🙏

I couldn’t not come on and leave Abby the glowing review she deserves!!
I’ve never used kennels or boarding for any of my pets before so to say I was a little apprehensive is an understatement! Coupled with the fact I have a very large and idiotic Doberman I was nervous about handing over the reins to someone!
Abby was just brilliant, was happy to follow instructions, managed to walk Arlo (who is quite dog reactive) safely and confidently and gave me total peace of mind!
She’s a chief pet cuddler, great with all manner of animals including the slithery type 🐍, kept my house spotless and not forgetting her top photography skills!! There wasn’t a single day that went by that she didn’t check in and send me photos of the gang having a great time…Infact, I think they were a little dissapointed when we came home! 😂 they’ve definitely all fell in love with Auntie Abby and I’m sure they’re counting down to our next little trip in October when she’s coming to stay! Thankyou again Abby for looking after them all so well 🥰🥰 (I will tag her page in the comments for any of you who would like to follow her or enquire!)

Hi everyone,

I thought I’d post to share this lovely ladies page with you all!
I get asked all the time about dog sitters or boarding recommendations and as I’ve never used them before, I’ve always struggled to really recommend anyone!

However…we have recently booked for Abby to look after our family while we go on holiday in a couple of weeks, and we have had a few trial walks and overnight stay!
I can’t recommend Abby enough, as you all probably know, Arlo can be a handful at best, a nightmare at worst 😂😂😅 but Abby has taken him in her stride and totally won the whole gang over 🥰
Abby moves into your house while your away so your pets are still in their own environment and she is a very respectful house guest, was happy to follow instructions regarding the pets and left the house spotless and just how I left it! She sent me lots of photos to keep me informed on how they were all getting on and I felt so at ease 🥰
Anyone wanting to enquire about any pet sitting (she does all pets! Not just dogs 🥰 she’s happy looking after the fat cat and Julius Squeezer 🐍) drop her a message and follow her page!
