A Walk in the Park with Rachel A Walk in the Park with Rachel assists with all pet care, offering dog walks and home visits. Hi👋 I am Rachel, the founder of A Walk in the Park with Rachel.

I have taken the plunge and gone self-employed with something that I enjoy more than anything, dogs! I have a huge passion in helping animals as well as lots of experience in caring for animals as I work as a kennel assistant in a vet practice. I am currently working towards completing a level 2 qualification in Animal Care and Welfare. I am fully insured and DBS checked.

Dash’s IVDD Journey 🐾🤍

Today, we went on our first walk since Dash was diagnosed with IVDD and had surgery to correct it.
He has been incredible learning how to walk again, and still been a very happy boy!!

I’ve put together some of the videos I’ve taken so you can see how far he’s come, right up until today’s walk. His owners are doing everything possible for him as he continues on his IVDD journey and I’m so proud of how well he is doing so far 🥰 To be back on a little walk with him today felt amazing!!

Also, I now visit another lovely boy that has IVDD because of how much I’ve been able to help Dash! Being able to help him and watching him improve each visit is just the best feeling 🤍

Lovely walks and visits, thank you for those who have let me rearrange or reduce walk times today and yesterday- hopefully plenty of rest for my knee this weekend! And I’ve been hit with a horrible cold today🤧 The dogs have been looking after me 🤪🥰

A lovely new pooch joining me a couple of walks a week, this is Matty 😍🥰

He is a gentle giant but gets very excited when I arrive for his walks! He is such a good boy and loves to have a good sniff on his walks 🐾 And a very smart boy with his bow tie 😍
