🐾 When you accidentally order the WRONG size Capybara… (as you do)😂🐾

So, when we accidentally ordered a slightly oversized Capybara toy for the practice (48cm, to be precise! 😅), we knew exactly who might appreciate our little ordering mishap!

Meet Kudo, one of our lovely clients gorgeous 7½-month-old Afghan Hound, who was absolutely delighted with his new giant friend! 😍❤️

We think it's safe to say that this particular delivery has gone down a treat! 🥰🐶

Who else has a dog who would LOVE a toy bigger than they are? 😂👇

We love it when we see such gorgeous patients like Chilli enjoying her first visit to Lincoln Edge Vets 🐶 💕 🐶

Going, going, gone, ssshhhh 🤫😴

It's hard work being this cute... 😍🐾

Please join us in welcoming Mowgli, the newest (and arguably most adorable!) addition to our very own team member's Nat's cats! 💙😸

From perfecting the art of the head tilt, to mastering the litter tray lounge, to snoozing so deeply that even his toe beans need a rest, Mowgli is already taking kitten life very seriously.
🥰✨️

Play. Pounce. Zoom. Nap. Repeat.🐈💯

It's a tough life, but somebody's got to do it! 🐱✨

We can't wait to watch all of Mowgli's adventures as he grows. Welcome to the pack, little one! 🐾💕

🐾💖 End of Week Smiles 💖🐾

While we accept that the tough moments are part of caring for animals and their families, it's often the happy updates that help keep us going. ✨️❤️‍🩹

As we head into the weekend, we'd like to share something that brought a smile to all of our faces this week. 🥰🌞

This is the lovely Daisy, who recently celebrated her 15th birthday! 🎉🎂

Daisy's owner kindly sent us this photo, and we couldn't resist sharing it with you all. We feel incredibly privileged to be part of our patients' lives and to watch them grow older alongside the families who love them. 🐶💛

Happy 15th Birthday, Daisy! Thank you for brightening our week, and here's to many more cuddles, treats and tail wags. ❤️🐾

🔥☀️EXTREME HEAT☀️🔥

Heatstroke is REAL…. WE SEE IT! It is a life threatening emergency and with the temperatures and humidity levels currently in Lincoln it can be fatal.

PLEASE do not walk your dogs in this heat… it is too hot for them to handle.

Please click on the link below for ways to keep your pets cool during this weather and ways to spot early symptoms.

💚🐾 This week has been National Veterinary Receptionist Week 💚🐾

We’re the first smile you see when you walk through the door… and sometimes the last voice you hear on a really difficult day.

Behind the desk, there’s so much more than meets the eye.
We juggle phones that don’t stop ringing, coordinate busy clinics, manage the unexpected, and somehow keep things running when it feels like chaos.

We see the happy moments—new puppies, wagging tails, excited purrs, and proud pet parents.
But we’re also there for the hard times—the worry, the tears, the goodbyes.
We comfort, we reassure, we listen.

We celebrate the wins with you and support you through the losses.
Through it all, we do our best to greet every person and every pet with kindness, compassion, and a smile 💛

With love from us two, the sometimes but always hopeful dynamic duo, Nat and Debs and also to the rest of our fantastic colleagues, the ones behind the scenes, the faces you don't always see but pick up the phone — thank you for being the calm in the chaos, the friendly voices, and the caring hearts at the centre of it all.
