At Pooch-a-licious we understand that pets mean everything to you. MY name is Sarah, I'm the founder of Pooch-A-Licious established in September 2022.

I've always wanted to be my own boss, work my own hours and provide for my future family. I finally did it after a year and a half off work due to having my beautiful little girl Ivy-Amelia. Whether your working long or short hours, on holiday or decided on a day trip out. We at pooch-a-licious are here to help lend a hand for all pets big or small. We are a professional, reliable and fully vetted

business which covers Lincoln and surrounding areas. I myself have had experience with all kinds of animals over the years, from small animals to reptiles to farm animals. I currently have a 9 year old rescue dashund cross called Egor, who suffers badly with separation anxiety & isn't so friendly with other dogs. We offer a range of services to you, from dog walks to pop-ins to cat visits and also we have just opened up our very own pet sitting service:- this involves us staying in your home whist your away and looing after your pet. After a long discussion with myself and my family, I’ve made the decision that Pooch-A-Licious will now be OPEN every Friday! 🎉

And I’m absolutely amazed to say that our Friday slots are already FULLY BOOKED! 🥹

In fact, our entire working week is now looking incredibly busy, with only a very limited number of regular slots remaining across the other days. A massive THANK YOU to every single client who has booked a regular weekly slot with me.

Your continued support and trust in me to care for your wonderful pets is the reason my little business continues to grow😊

A Very Special Morning Before Today’s Walks! 🐾

Today has been a slightly different start to the working day for Pooch-A-Licious… because this morning I had the very special job of taking my beautiful Ivy-Amelia to her VERY FIRST day of primary school! 🥹🎒📚

I honestly can’t believe this day has arrived. One minute she was my tiny little girl and now she’s walking through the school gates in her uniform ready to start this huge new chapter. ❤️

There were definitely some emotional Mummy moments this morning! 🥹 But I am incredibly proud of her and can’t wait to hear all about her first day later.

Now that my little school girl has been safely dropped off, it’s time to swap the school run for leads, harnesses and lots of wagging tails as I head out for today’s dog walks! 🐶

As many of my regular clients know, Ivy starting school means a few little changes to my day-to-day schedule, but it also marks a really exciting new chapter for both our family and the business.

A huge thank you to all of my wonderful clients for being so supportive and understanding while I’ve adjusted my working day around the school runs. It really does mean a lot.

Now… time to get those steps in with today’s Pooch-A-Licious pups! 🐕‍🦺🐾

September is officially here, and we’re already getting stuck into another busy month of caring for all your wonderful pets! 🐶🐱

Today has been another lovely day spent doing what I love — getting out on our walks, enjoying plenty of fresh air and making sure all of our furry friends are happy, exercised and given lots of attention. 🥰

With the summer holidays now behind us and routines starting to return to normal, our diary is also getting busier with our regular dog walks and pet care visits.

I just want to say another huge THANK YOU to all of my amazing regular clients who continue to support my little business. Whether you've been with me from the beginning or have only recently joined the Pooch-A-Licious family, your support genuinely means so much. ❤️

🥕🐰 A Little Favour for Our Guinea Pigs & Rabbits 🐹🥬

I don’t normally like asking for help, but I thought I’d reach out to my lovely clients, friends, family and local community. ❤️

My little one absolutely adores her guinea pigs and rabbits and loves helping to care for them. Unfortunately, at the moment we’re finding it a little difficult to keep up with the cost of all the fresh fruit and vegetables they get through. 🥕🥒🥬🍎

So, before anything goes to waste, please keep our little furry family in mind! 🐰🐹

If you have any spare fruit or vegetables, things you’ve bought too much of, home-grown produce you won’t use, or items that are getting a little older and would otherwise end up being thrown away, we would be incredibly grateful for anything that is still fresh and safe for the animals to eat. ❤️

Even a couple of carrots, some cucumber, peppers or leafy greens would be hugely appreciated and certainly wouldn’t go to waste!

You don’t have to be a Pooch-A-Licious client, friend or family member to help. 🥰 If anyone in the local community has suitable fruit or vegetables they would otherwise be throwing away, please drop our business page a message and we can arrange collection of the items. 🚗🥕

There’s absolutely no pressure at all — we just thought it was worth asking before perfectly usable food ends up in the bin. ♻️💚

🌧️🐾 TODAY’S WEATHER UPDATE – POOCH-A-LICIOUS 🐾🌧️

Well… the British weather has definitely changed on us today! With the heavy rain and much cooler temperatures, I’ll be making a few changes to today’s services to keep both myself and all the lovely pooches in my care safe, comfortable and as dry as possible. ❤️

All walks scheduled for today will be changed to pop-in services, including garden/toilet breaks, company, cuddles and a little enrichment where appropriate. If you would prefer to cancel your booking completely, that’s absolutely fine — please just let me know before your usual time slot is due.

I know a little bit of rain doesn’t normally stop us, but with it being particularly heavy today, I don’t want the dogs getting completely soaked and then having to sit at home wet and uncomfortable afterwards. Their comfort and wellbeing will always come first. 🐶

And to keep myself warm while travelling between all your lovely pets today, I’ve treated myself to a cheeky little Starbucks! ☕

It might only seem like a small treat, but it’s little moments like this that remind me just how grateful I am for every single one of my amazing clients.

Without all of your bookings, continued support, recommendations and, most importantly, the trust you put in me to care for your precious pets, I wouldn’t be able to enjoy these little luxuries along the way or continue building a business doing something I genuinely love. 🥰🐾

So while I’m warming up with my Starbucks between visits, a massive THANK YOU to each and every one of you! ❤️

❤️🐾 REGGIE DESERVES HIS FOREVER HOME 🐾❤️

We’re sharing gorgeous Reggie again for our friends at Breeds In Need UK, because this beautiful boy has sadly been let down far too many times. 💔

Reggie is a 10-month-old Doberman x Rottweiler who may be a big boy, but underneath it all he’s still just a goofy, loving puppy who needs someone willing to give him the stability, patience and commitment he deserves. 🥹❤️

🐾 Walks well on his lead
❤️ Loves children — dog-savvy children aged 10+ due to his size
🐶 Gets along with most dogs
💕 Could potentially live with a large-breed female following successful introductions
🏡 Equally happy being the only dog
🎓 Still young and learning his manners
❌ No small furries as he hasn’t been tested with them

Reggie is currently safe and happy in foster in Lincoln, but what he really needs now is somewhere he can finally put down his paws and call HOME. 🏡❤️

He’s already had enough “maybes.”�He needs someone who looks beyond his size and sees the wonderful young dog underneath.

Please, please share Reggie far and wide. Even if you can’t adopt him yourself, one share could put him in front of the person he’s been waiting for. 🙏🐾

☀️🐾 SUMMER AT POOCH-A-LICIOUS 🐾☀️

With it being the summer holidays and the children off school, I fully expected the last few weeks to be a little quieter than usual for dog walking… but that definitely hasn’t been the case! 😂🐶

We’ve been just as busy as a normal non-school-holiday week, with our regular furry faces keeping us busy alongside lots of new one-off bookings and plenty of enquiries for regular dog walks. ❤️

We’ve also been busy providing our other services, including:

And because you lovely lot have continued to support Pooch-A-Licious throughout the summer, I’ve been able to take a little time out of my working day and treat my daughter, Ivy, to an afternoon cinema trip for some much-needed Mummy & Daughter time. 🍿🎬❤️

Running my own business means every booking really does make a difference. Whether you use us every week, book us while you're away, need the occasional pop-in, or simply recommend our services to somebody else — you are supporting a small, family-run business.

Your continued support allows me to do a job I absolutely love while also creating special memories with my little girl, and for that I am incredibly grateful. 🥰
