Meet the Owner 🐾

Hi everyone! 👋 I’m Millie, the owner and Head Veterinary Nurse of Home Visit Pet Care Swadlincote & South Derbyshire.

With less than ONE WEEK to go until we open, I thought it was about time I introduced myself! 🥰

Some of you may know me from Millie Clamp : Mobile Pet Nurse or my time at Hartshorne Veterinary Surgery. I’ve worked in veterinary for over 6 years, and after having my little girl Margot last November, I started offering mobile nursing services.

What started as a small service quickly grew, with lots of you asking for vaccinations, consultations, blood testing, medications and more. I’m now incredibly proud to be able to offer all of this and much more through Home Visit Pet Care! 🎉

My aim has always been to make veterinary care calm, convenient and as stress-free as possible, and that won’t change.

When I’m not working, I’m enjoying my time at home with my partner Rob, daughter Margot, our Border Collies Riley & Merlin, cats Trio & Opal, and our reptiles Gwendolyn the gecko and Dave the snake! 🐶🐱🦎

I’m so excited that our first appointments are already filling up, with lots of you booked in for our first vet day on 11th September and nurse appointments w/c 7th September. ❤️

‼️Have we got some exciting news for you?!‼️

We have been gifted a fabulous amount of money by a donor that wishes to remain anonymous 😲 this donation was specifically requested to be used for the purchase of a van solely for the use of Animal Rescue Volunteers 😍

We are so tremendously grateful, as you can see our mascot Arnie was just as excited and jumped in for the first photoshoot of our ARV vehicle

This means that not only can we transport our gazebo and tables and goods easier, we can collect donations from our generous supporters and we can give the animals in our care safe journeys to and from vet appointments

Yesterday Stephanie Shore and her husband Chris volunteered their services to help at Lowveld Poultry Sanctuary, there is no end to their skills
