A whole week of Enza 🥰. She has grown so much already she is definitely fiery yet loving.
Save to say Bee and Ashwey Laurenzo have made a very smart little (not so little) lady.

This week hasn't been entirely straightforward, Bee had a retained placenta afterbirth so that was 4 am vet visit Tues morning, Tuesday afternoon was a flush for Bee and IgG (Enza aced it), Enza has a very slightly lax hind leg so needed a few days in barn and pen before turnout. Then Wednesday night Bee was uncomfortable and restless, that resultes in a 1am vet visit, Friday Bee has some manky discharge that was another vet visit followed by a Sat and Sunday visit to get on top of her uterine infection (still waiting on my loyalty card at Cliffe Equine Vets !). Bee and Enza are now on going out and today did about 8 hours. I think Enza will sleep well tonight.

Did get some good zoomie photos today!

It has been quite the week hopefully we can now move forward 🙏

Lu is being a good auntie and is looking forwards to Enza being bigger so they can gallop together!

Thank you to all my fabulous clients that have moved and been accommodating and flexible with me moving things around to anyone that might get moved around in the coming weeks.

Enza has met several professionals this week, but more on that in another post. Today Enza had her first trimmer experience today with Lily Harrison Equine Podiatrist. Enza thought she would "help" and was slightly annoyed Lily was in the way of her milk bar.

Super important to allow positive experiences (while keeping boundaries!) With professionals even from a really early stage.

Lots of people have been on this journey (some kind if extreme journey!) I know people want to see Baby Enza. Bee is the happiest and proudest mum and she adores her baby so much. Finally manged some field time and hopefully now can build it up over ht next few days. Bee did get annoyed when Enza ran off without her.

Now that little Enza has arrived I have one big thing left - my dissertation, which is due in, in 12 days!! Once my dissertation is done there will a few down days to recover from the very hectic and at times stressful last few months. If you wanting me please drop me a message but if it is before the 20th I will likely not reply. I will start taking on new clients again from mid July.
Yes there will be Enza spam and a few other posts along the way.

Baby B AKA Bee's Laurenza (Enza) made an appearance at 11.50pm on Monday night. All is well and Enza is very fiery and super cute. Bee is being the perfect mum.

Enza is by Ashwey Ashwey Laurenzo (Lauri's half brother. And we definitely couldn't have done it with out him!), out of Bad girl des Ambre(Bee) and her dad is Parco.

Yes this has been a long time coming and it hasn't taken a team but an army.
Lauri will I am sure take on being an auntie and happily teach baby all her naughty ways.

I have to say a massive thanks to Sophie at Cliffe Equine Vets because we definitely wouldn't be here without her and she has been constantly there thoughout this whole pregnancy and has definitely gone above and beyond to make sure baby B got here safely. Early on it wasn't quite the easiest conceptions having not played ball and then almost missed her because Bee caught us out. Then she a lot of discharge at day 8 but then scanned Bee in foal at just 10 days.
And 340 days later almost to the minute baby B made her entrance.

There was an army to help get Enza here and I am not making this an Oscar speech as many people had involvement and we are grateful to you all 💗 if I start to mention people I will forget someone and I really don't want to do that!

Although I am almost fully occupied with Bee (😴) and uni. I did fit in a clip for my regular Diesel just as the hot weather hit. Look at his dapples 😍
His lovely owner also knows how to keep me happy clean pony and cold drinks and choc chop muffins!
