Here’s a girl that’s finally admitting defeat.
Winter is on the horizon. Don’t let today’s 18C balmy, sunny weather fool you.
It’s been 2 weeks and Atheby’s clip had nearly grown back. His tail is in the tail bag as it’s coming in gross and sticky most mornings. The morning dew is making anything I dare to forget and leave out overnight absolutely soaked and I’m dragging out all the rugs I swore I’d get to the rug wash in the heat wave out and still covered in yester years mud.
So tonight I scrubbed and filled Atheby’s water. I went above and beyond and made him a turmeric water buffet too (top mum here). Only to lift the bucket, the handle break and cover myself in water… So that’s it. I admit defeat. Winter is coming, whether we’re ready or not.
Enjoy my musings while I now wait for this to fill because you know I’ll forget about it the second I walk away…
