🐾❤️ It’s the little things that make this job so lovely!

This week, and next I’ve taken on three gorgeous dogs at short notice, all through circumstances beyond their control, and all needing a helping hand (or rather, a walker! 🐶).

As well as getting to spend time walking these lovely chaps, I’ve been working the weekend too — something I haven’t done for a little while! But with that comes the added bonus of meeting their wonderful owners and sitters.

I genuinely love meeting new people and discovering places I’d usually just drive past. Exploring back streets, little alleyways, hidden shortcuts and spotting beautiful houses tucked away where you’d least expect them.

And then, of course, there’s the perfect way to finish… sitting down with a coffee, taking a moment to relax and watching the world go by. ☕️

It’s a lovely reminder that this job isn’t just about walking dogs. It’s about helping people when they need it, meeting lovely people along the way, and appreciating all the little things you might otherwise miss. ❤️🐾

What a perfectly busy day! 🐾

This morning started with a lovely walk with Remy and Jax, strolling through parks and past beautiful churches, discovering places I’d never visited before. There’s something so special about exploring new little corners together. 🌿

Then it was time for a wonderfully peaceful walk with the gorgeous Freyja, as happy as ever sniffing around the apple trees and taking in all the smells and sights. 🍎🐾

After that, some precious one-to-one time with my own little chap, Wilf, before dropping him home and collecting my girl Beau. We had a little recap of some of the things she’s been learning, helping to build her confidence and celebrate all those little steps forward. 💕🐶

A quick bite to eat (because apparently dog walking is hungry work! 😂) and then back out for the very sweet Junior, where we found a lovely, lively wooded trail to explore. 🌳

Sunshine, birds, squirrels, wagging tails and the absolute kindest souls. ☀️🐿️🐾

God knows how many steps I’ve clocked up today, but I wouldn’t change a thing.

I simply love my job. ❤️

🌧️🐾 Rain? What rain? We’re out having fun! 😂

A lovely solo walk with my calm and friendly Freyja today — and yes, the two of us got absolutely soaked! 💦🤣

But honestly… who cares?! A bit of rain has never stopped us. We just embraced it, enjoyed the fresh air, had plenty of sniffing and exploring, and most importantly, enjoyed each other’s company as always. 🥰🐾

Freyja was happy, I was happy, and the rain was doing its absolute best to join in! 😂🌧️

No bad weather… just good company and a very wet dog walker! 🐶☔❤️

🌧️🐾 Rainy days? We say bring them on! 🐾🌧️

There’s nothing quite like watching the dogs have fun, whatever the weather! 💦🐶

Bobby has really settled in and it’s been so lovely watching him grow in confidence and make a very special friendship with Jill Scott. 🥰 They’re becoming quite the little duo!

There’s plenty of safe running, exploring and enjoying the company of their four-legged friends, alongside lots of mental stimulation, scent games and enrichment to keep those clever noses and minds busy. 👃🧠🐾

Most importantly, they’re having fun, building friendships and simply enjoying being together.

Because sometimes, the best adventures are the soggy ones… and the best company has four paws! ❤️🐾

🐾✨ Welcome to the 4 Paws & a Path family, Bobby! ✨🐾

Just look at this handsome boy! 😍 Bobby is basically a giant teddy bear with paws — big, beautiful and full of character!

Bobby joined us for his first adventure and settled in like he’d been part of the pack forever. He blended in beautifully, making new friends and enjoying plenty of fun, sniffs and exploring along the way. 🐶🌿

We think Bobby is going to be a fantastic addition to the gang, and we’re already looking forward to seeing more of his big fluffy face on our adventures!

Well… after all that scorching weather, today was finally the day my van left the driveway! 🚐🐾

And oh, how I’ve missed my furry friends! ❤️

The day started with a lovely group walk with Jill Scott, followed by a peaceful solo adventure with Freya, who spent her time happily sniffing, exploring, and soaking up the fresh air. 🌿🐕

Next, I had the absolute pleasure of spending time with gorgeous 8-month-old Fudge and her big sister Coco. We had so much fun playing in the garden, enjoying enrichment games, sharing lots of cuddles, and, of course, sampling a few little pieces of the famous 4 Paws Ox Liver Cake! 🍰🐶

To round off a fantastic day, I was joined by the adorable little man, Junior, for even more fun and cuddles.

It was such a wonderful day filled with wagging tails, happy faces, and lots of love. I think it’s safe to say we were all very happy to be back out doing what we love! 🐾💛
