Today I visited Jax 🐶

An important part of my role as a mobile veterinary nurse is providing the care I can within my remit and the law while recognising when something needs veterinary attention. 🩺❤️

Jax was booked in for ear cleaning, claw clipping and a**l gland expression. He was an absolute superstar for his ear cleaning! 🥰

However, during the visit I found that one of his dew claws had grown into his paw pad, and one of his a**l glands was blocked. Rather than continuing to clip and squeeze, these required veterinary treatment due to a wound and possible infection involvement. I referred Jax to the vet for further care and I’ll be seeing him again for routine maintenance care once he’s been given the all clear. ❤️

His mum did the right thing for getting me in And clearly loves him very much 🥰

Welcome Honey! 🍯🐾

A very warm welcome to this lovely, affectionate girl to Pawsitive Walks and Wellness

Honey has a few confidence issues when it comes to getting into the car for walks, so we’re going to take things at her pace, building her confidence gently and positively without any pressure.

Our goal is to help Honey feel comfortable and confident enough to hop into the car and join me and some of the dog gang on our fun, social walks. ❤️ 🐶

I’m back from a lovely 10-day French holiday!
And I really missed all my lovely doggies! 🐶🥰

Back to work and straight into some very important research… testing my nappy idea on a cheeky little fella who shall remain nameless (no shaming here! 🙈😂) who has developed a rather unfortunate habit of having a little wee or 5 in the car 🙈

With his owner’s blessing, this little chap has now been proudly modelling a rather fancy nappy for his car journeys. I think he rather suits it 😂!
