✨ Exciting news! ✨

Many of you know I’ve spent the last few years running Slick Paws and getting to know so many wonderful dogs (and their owners!).

I’m really excited to share that I’ve recently qualified as a massage therapist and have opened Victoria Charles Massage, offering Swedish and Deep Tissue Massage for women in Leighton Buzzard.

I’ll still be out walking the dogs, although I’ll be reducing my dog walking hours as I balance both businesses.

Yesterday Ozzy got a foxtail in his ear so I took him to the vets straight away. They had to sedate him to remove it, it was so deep in his ear. He spent the afternoon panting and stumbling around the house poor drunk pooch.

Dogs can easily pick these up in long dried grass. They’re everywhere at the moment and hard to avoid so be vigilant! If you see them in your dog’s fur, pick them off immediately.

The sharp tip allows the foxtail to pierce the skin and the backwards barbs mean they can only go in one direction, going deeper into the tissue and can cause an abscess or infection.
