Today we say goodbye to a truly valued member of our team, Amy Lea, as she moves on to an exciting new career.

For the past 2 years and 9 months, Amy has been such an important part of our practice—always supportive, hardworking, and someone we could rely on no matter what the day brought. She’s made a real difference to both the team and our clients, and it won’t be the same without her.

On a personal note, Amy, thank you for all your help and support—it’s been so appreciated. You’ll be hugely missed by all of us.

✨️ Ginny's journey ✨️

(⚠️ Trigger warning: Eyes! ⚠️)

Ginny came in to us today for continuation of treatment of an eye ulcer. She was given a sedation for the examination of the eye, and a dye was used to help make the surface of the eye clearer for the vet.
She was a very good girl and, with the help of some medication, will make a full recovery! Well done Ginny! 🐶🐾

⚠️ IMPORTANT! ⚠️

As of 22nd April 2026 (tomorrow), EU pet passports will no longer be accepted for travelling with pets from the UK to the EU. EU pet passports may only be issued to owners whose main residence is within the European Union, so they will no longer be valid for residents of the UK.

What does this mean? If you are planning to travel abroad with your pet, you can no longer use the EU passport if your main residence in within the UK. You will now be required to get an Animal Health Certificate (AHC) documentation.

Where can you get an AHC? Unfortunately our practice does not provide Animal Health Certificates , however there are a range of veterinary services that do. We would always recommend for owners to do their own research into where to get the certificate from. A new AHC will be needed every time your pet travels outside of the UK.
