With the summer competition season drawing to a steady close its a good opportunity to think of our horses present and future health and soundness. Blood tests can be a good benchmark, as well as checking the heart, eyes and soundness. Any obvious issues can be flagged and a decision to investigate further can be planned giving time for treatment, rest and if necessary rehabilitation.

This event horse who has finished the event season was given an MOT on Friday. Fortunately he was in good condition and all his soft tissue structures looked in great condition during a leg scan.
