Starting the day with the lovely Bella, she was actually better behaved than meadow today 😂 .. meadow never does anything naughty so when she does something silly we are all a bit surprised 😅.
Bella is doing super well checking back in before saying hello to new dogs, it's really hard not to stalk all the way up to them but it's a much nicer greeting if she doesn't 🥰. We met lots of lovely dogs today 👌.

A few great training updates from customers this past week. Bella is now able to walk down the main road near her home comfortably around the traffic! This is a huge win and has taken lots of persistence from her owners.

I've also had some fabulous updates from other owners improvements with issues such as reactivity to dogs and general focus improvements, resource guarding, reactivity at the window. Dogs that weren't able to successfully go for walks now enjoying walks with their owners 🥰 this makes me a very happy dog trainer ☺️.

Hi guys my only weekend training 1-1 availability this month is Sunday 21st. I do have weekday availability still so pop me a message if you'd like to book in for an initial 1-1 or a follow up 😊

I do have some limited room for training walks on an ad hoc basis (these can be booked for a few weeks at a time upfront to keep that progress flowing). If you'd like me to help with the heavy lifting on a particular behaviour these can be really helpful. They do require an initial 1-1 to make sure we are all following the same plan... However they can help to speed up progress.

We will be opening up some group walk space later this month also now our new dogs have settled into their groups.

I'm delighted to have been invited as guest trainer at the Karlo Summer Social later this month.

I'll be on hand throughout the day for a chat about training, behaviour, puppies, recall, lead walking and all the everyday challenges that come with sharing life with dogs.

I'll also be running a free have-a-go bale scurry for all breeds. No competition, no pressure, just a bit of fun for you and your dog. we will run this with both dummies and balls for different preferences.

The beautiful Bonnie the Golden Retriever absolutely smashing her training walk yesterday!

Our main focus for Bonnie's session was real-world neutrality, focus, and polite manners in busy environments.

We kicked off our adventure with a trip to the local pet shop, which is always the ultimate test of impulse control! Bonnie stayed absolutely lovely and calm. We practiced making smart choices—perfecting the balance between polite, appropriate greetings and calmly ignoring distractions when needed. 🛍️🐕

After nailing her pet shop manners, we headed out for a scenic walk to continue the exact same theme out in the open. Of course, a Muddy Mutt adventure wouldn't be complete without a bit of fun. Bonnie managed to sniff out some proper treasure along the path!

Real-world training walks are a fantastic way to transition skills from the training field into everyday life. Super proud of you, Bonnie! 💖Does your dog struggle to stay calm around exciting distractions like pet shops or busy parks?
