Your clippers aren’t broken… it’s just the heat 🥵✂️

If your clippers feel warmer than usual on hot days, don’t panic! Powerful clippers work hard, and when you’re clipping in hot weather, heat can build up faster than usual. Why? In summer, the air around your clippers is already warmer, meaning there’s less temperature difference to help blades and motors naturally release heat and cool down.

Here are a few tips for clipping in the heat:
✅ Check blade tension — keep it as loose as possible while maintaining performance (over-tightening creates extra friction)
✅ Clean air filters regularly — good airflow helps the motor breathe
✅ Swap to cool blades — giving warm blades a rest
✅ Oil the head regularly and use Andis Cool Care spray for an instant cooling boost
✅ Lots of clipping to do? Give your clippers short breaks

It’s completely normal for clippers to feel warmer in summer, but a little maintenance goes a long way 🙌
