We have 10 of these rechargeable fans that we use in the Nest. They are ideal as they clip onto to the cage and create a gentle breeze. 🪭

Big news! 🐹

We have an unexpected announcement, we will sadly be closing the Nest in December.

As you know, we downsized earlier this year and we had no intention of closing at this point. But we have a few big changes coming up.

Firstly is Pippa’s lovely news about expecting a baby in February! With 2 little ones, under 2 years, she’s going to have her hands full! She will need more help with the boarding, which will be continuing as usual!

Secondly, my lovely sister-in-law has just started palliative chemo. As well as helping out with hospital appointments, we are going to be very busy, doing lots of fun things!

Finally, Paul (my husband) is retiring in a few months, which is going to make a huge change at home. Pippa and I also both have plans to move house (locally) in the not too distant future.

So sadly we’ve decided that the Nest will have to close. The boarding will continue, along with our commitment to life time support to our adopters. We fully expect to still need to take in some Nest piggies, as occasionally, adopters circumstances change.

The Nest has been running for almost 9 years and we’ve helped around 5,000 piggies. As much as I love helping all the piggies, and their families, it’s time for a change.

We will still look forward to seeing all the piggies who come back to us for boarding! 😊🐹
