People often ask what foods we use on the shop fish, so here's what's currently getting the nod of approval...

🐟 Vitalis Grazers

The fish are loving them, colours are looking great and feeding time has become even more of a frenzy than usual.

Unfortunately, Millie has also discovered the Vitalis Grazers.

At first we thought a few wafers had gone missing. Then we noticed her hanging around the pleco tanks a bit too often. Yesterday she hissed when Charlie walked past and this morning she was found attached to the glass scraping algae off the wood.

We're not saying she's been eating the fish food...
..but she's developed a stronger grazing instinct than half the bristlenose plecs in the building.

If anyone sees her hiding under driftwood or defending a sinking wafer, please return her to the till area immediately. 🤣

While it's grey, wet and generally behaving exactly how you'd expect British weather to behave, our pond plant section is busy putting on a show. 😍

Just look at this stunning bloom! The plants are really coming into their own now, with more flowers opening every day and plenty of colour to brighten up even the soggiest of weekends.

Whether you're looking to add a splash of colour, attract pollinators, improve water quality or just give the neighbours something to be jealous of, we've got plenty to choose from.

Fair warning though... most customers come in for fish food and leave with an armful of pond plants instead. 🤣

The team now have brand new uniforms! 🎉

So if you're looking for fish advice, pond help, plant recommendations, or just someone to blame when you leave with more fish than you planned, you'll be able to spot us much easier around the shop. 😆

No more accidentally asking another customer how to set up your filter. No more cornering innocent people near the shrimp tanks. No more mistaking Charlie for someone who just wandered in looking confused. 🤣

Our new Duplicate Corys have spent most of today lined up at the glass watching the Bronze Corys next door. 🐟🤣

We're not entirely sure what's going on. It could be admiration. It could be jealousy. It could be a full-blown underwater soap opera. Either way, they're absolutely obsessed!

The Bronze Corys seem completely unaware they're the stars of the show, while the Duplicate Corys continue their important surveillance duties. 🎥👀

Rebel has been hard at work checking stock levels, supervising the fish, and making sure every box is opened to the highest canine standards... and tomorrow she's expecting a few deliveries to keep her (and Charlie!) extra busy! 📦🐟
If you pop into the shop, don't be surprised if you find her sat next to the latest fish shipment looking very important. We're not entirely convinced she's helping, but her employee-of-the-month campaign is certainly gathering momentum. 🤣

New fish, fresh stock, and one very enthusiastic delivery inspector will all be in store tomorrow!
