🐶 All dogs in England must be microchipped and registered on an approved database by the time they are 8 weeks old.

🐱 Since 10 June 2024, pet cats must also be microchipped before they reach 20 weeks of age and registered on a compliant database.

A microchip provides permanent identification and greatly increases the chances of a lost pet being reunited with its family.

🏡Responsible breeders ensure puppies are microchipped before leaving for their new homes.
