🎄✨ ACTOR / ACTRESS / ENTERTAINER WANTED – RUDYARD LAKE RAILWAY TWILIGHT EVENTS ✨🎄

Part-Time | Two Weekends | Christmas Season

Rudyard Lake Railway is looking for an enthusiastic, warm and friendly actor/entertainer (or a small team of people) to help us make our Christmas Twilight events truly magical and memorable.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves performing, engaging with families and creating those special Christmas moments that people remember for years to come.

🎭 The Role

We’re looking for someone who can bring energy, warmth and a little Christmas magic to our Twilight events. You’ll help entertain and interact with visitors, create memorable moments and bring the festive atmosphere to life around the railway.

We’re particularly interested in people who are:

- Naturally warm, friendly and approachable
- Confident and enthusiastic around families and children
- Comfortable performing, improvising and interacting with the public
- Creative, energetic and able to bring characters to life
- Reliable, professional and great at working as part of a team
- Experienced in acting, entertainment, events, theatre, pantomime or similar — although the right personality and enthusiasm are just as important!

🎅 What We Offer

✨ A two-weekend part-time engagement during our Christmas Twilight events
✨ A fair and competitive wage, open to discussion for the right person depending on experience and what they can bring to the role
✨ A supportive and friendly working environment
✨ The opportunity to be part of a unique Christmas experience at Rudyard Lake Railway
✨ The chance to help create genuine festive magic for our visitors!

Whether you’re an experienced performer, actor, entertainer, theatre professional, or simply someone with a fantastic personality who loves making people smile, we’d love to hear from you.

If you think you could help us make this Christmas at Rudyard Lake Railway something really special, please get in touch with details of your experience and a little about yourself by emailing us at [email protected]

Well... its over! And what a Gala it was. We're all absolutely knackered (as seen in this photo from a small selection of us cleaning the locos today).

All thats left is to say a HUGE thank you to all our visiting loco owners/crewes, Staff/Volunteers, and of course all our customers that have visited.

Lets just say, we're glad we're getting a few days off before running again on 26/27th.

(We'd love to see everyone's gala pics)
