Next up Adel. Poor Angus got stung by a bee so here’s a reminder for your first aid kit (although he was too wriggly and busy 😂. Also absolutely fine). Bee stings are acidic so bicarbonate of soda mixed into a paste with water helps sooth the area. As bees leave the sting behind try to get it out. Also ice to the area to help sooth. Wasp stings are alkaline so vinegar can help neutralise the area as well as ice to sooth. Always watch for any unusual reactions and straight to a vet if needed. Swelling, pale gums, seizures, difficulty breathing…. Betty reacts to stings with swelling so an antihistamine prescribed from the vet is my first port of call for her which I carry ☺️🐶🐾❤️
