Happy Bank Holiday Weekend! ☀️🌡🐾

If this weekend isn't the perfect excuse to eat bucket loads of ice cream, then I'm a goat 😂

We've got a freezer FULL of Scoops doggy ice cream, including our new Puppuccino Pops! 🍦

It's definitely looking too hot for any big adventures with the dogs this weekend, so I think we'll all just have to settle for some iced snackos in the garden instead 🥰🐶

Just a little reminder that we’ll be closed on Monday for the Bank Holiday!

⏰ Opening Hours Update! ⏰

For anyone who hasn’t spotted the signs in store yet, we have a couple of changes to our opening hours this week:

➡️ Today (Thursday): Closing at 4pm instead of 5pm
➡️ Tomorrow (Friday 15th): Closed all day

We always keep our Google opening hours up to date, so if you ever want to double-check that we’re open before making a trip, that’s the best place to look.

It's very rare that our opening hours change, so please don’t let this week put you off. It’s certainly not the norm! 🥹

This is something I tell people every single day, and it's so hugely important! 🐇

If you already have a rabbit, or have been thinking of adopting one into your family - do better than shoving them in a hutch 🚫

Wild rabbits can cover an area equivalent to 30 football pitches every day while grazing and playing. A study even found one underground warren spanned 517 metres and had over 150 entrances!

Make sure you provide them with sufficient space to roam, explore, binky and exercise their bouncy legs 🐰

A Hutch Is Not Enough.

Rabbits need space to run, stretch up and explore every day, with housing that supports their natural behaviours, not limits them.

A hutch can play a role, but it should always be part of a much larger, enriched living area with rabbits having constant access to at least 3m x 2m of space, 1m high, all in one continuous area. Through this campaign, we’re working with retailers, vets and owners to raise standards and improve rabbit welfare together.

⚠️ Carnilove & True Fresh Announcement ⚠️

If your feed your dog or cat Carnilove or True Fresh, please take a moment to read this 🐕🐈

Carnilove have recently had a big rebrand, and there are some important changes to all of the recipes. This means that the next bag you purchase may look different and the ingredients may have changed! 🐶

All of the ingredient changes are positive, but because the recipes have been reformulated, we do recommend transitioning your dog gradually onto the new bag to avoid any tummy upsets.

It's especially important that you read the blog if you currently feed the Carnilove 'Fresh' Range, as these have been discontinued... 🙅🏼‍♀️ I know! 😭

We've started off with 12 exciting new recipes in our freezers, which will undoubtedly turn into the whole range within the next few months 😅 Some of you may already know about Naturaw, but for those of you who don't, read all about them in this post! ↙️

𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗙𝗢𝗢𝗗
Naturaw is a proper, species-appropriate raw food made from real, fresh ingredients. Every single bit of meat is 100% British and high welfare. The chicken carcasses are organic, the turkey is free range, and all the poultry chunks and offal are either free range or organic too. Everything is carefully balanced and made in small batches, so what's on the label is actually what's in the tray 🐄🌱🚜
