Hope you are all having a lovely bank holiday, please be cautious of our furry friends in this weather!

Heatstroke can come on suddenly, please keep your pets cool on days like this.

Signs of heatstroke -

Increased panting
Excessive drooling
Abnormal behaviour
Darker/smaller urination
Dark red gums
Blood in vomit or stools
Seizures
Wobbliness or muscle tremors
Rapid/irregular heart rate

Please be mindful on days like today and reach out to your vet if you are concerned 🐶 🐱 🐰

We have had a young cat (6-8months) brought in to the practice, no microchip, very friendly, tabby and white. If you believe this is your cat please get in touch. Proof of ownership will be required.

As most of you will know our vet Chris and nurse Jenny will be leaving at the end of this week! They were both here from the start when we first opened so we are very sad to see them leave as I’m sure most of our lovely clients will be so we wanted to give you the opportunity to say goodbye and share any of your lovely experiences with them on here 🥰♥️

Did you know we treat feathered friends too? 🦆

Last week we had Bean visit our practice after being rescued.

Franc our clinical director assessed Bean to make sure he was well and gave him treatment that was required.

After chatting with his rescuers, it was found out that mealworms and watermelon 🍉 tend to be ducks favourite treat!
