🚨 WANTED: Weekend Yard Human (possibly part unicorn) 🐴🧹☕️

We’re on the hunt for a reliable, hard-working human to join the yard team for weekends + holiday cover, with extra hours available over winter when everything is muddy, frozen, and somehow every horse decides today is the day to lose a shoe. 🙃

Your duties may include:
🐴 Mucking out like your life depends on it
🐴 Turning in/out horses who may or may not have opinions
🐴 Filling hay nets until your arms resemble overcooked spaghetti
🐴 General yard duties / keeping things running smoothly
🐴 Remaining calm when a horse acts like the wheelbarrow is a personal attack

The boring but important bits:
✔️ Over 18s only
✔️ Own transport essential (because horses don’t care about bus timetables)
✔️ Freelance / self-employed basis
✔️ Must be reliable, sensible, and ideally not afraid of mud, rain, or dramatic horses

Bonus points if:
✨ You can spot when a horse is plotting chaos
✨ You run on caffeine and sarcasm
✨ You actually enjoy early mornings (weird, but appreciated)

Experience with horses is a must — enthusiasm alone won’t save you 😅

SOLD - 🤎 Topsey 🤎 – Beautiful 16.1hh 9 Year Old Bay Sports Horse Mare

Beautiful bay 16.1hh, 9 year old sports horse mare looking for a loving new home. Topsey has been in the same home all her life, being homebred and much loved, so this is a very genuine and sad sale.

Although she hasn’t done much for her age, she has all the right qualities to go on and make someone a lovely horse. She has a kind, affectionate nature and absolutely loves people — a real sweetheart to have around.

Topsey is very easy to handle in all ways, good to catch, groom and deal with, and is not phased by anything. She has a laid-back, sensible attitude and takes life in her stride. She is good to hack out and enjoys her work.

She has very flashy, expressive paces and is sure to excel in the showing or dressage ring with her presence and movement. She is a lovely blank canvas for someone wanting to put their own stamp on a genuine, quality mare.

Topsey would be best suited to a knowledgeable, confident home to bring out her full potential.

No vices or medical issues. Up to date with vaccinations and dentist. Good for the farrier (currently shod in front), and good to load and travel.

A loving, experienced home is the priority for this special mare.

Today was break through day for one of breakers 🤩 so pleased with Minnie’s progress whilst being here, can’t wait to see her progress 😍
We’ve taken everything at Minnie’s pace as she’s quite the 🌪️ sometimes! But, today we understood Georgia’s legs don’t make us explode and we even had a trot under saddle 🤩

Breckenbrough BE90 - Just Alf - 3rd 🥉🥳

So so proud I could cry 🥹
After realising the horse before me was doing a completely different dressage test to what I thought we were doing…we took a decent 31.8 🤩
Just an unlucky pole in the showjumping and clear and in time in the cross country putting us into 3rd place 🥹 so so pleased and proud of Alfie 🧡🧡🧡 after a rubbish year last year with the dreaded ‘S’ cutting our season short, only his 4th run at BE, stress of life and everything else mixed in, he’s bossing it like a pro 🤩
