It took me a long time to realise that food isn't always the most rewarding thing for a dog- and how to work with that instead of against it. For Mora, a toy is always better than food but I'd only owned food-driven dogs before her and bringing play into our training has been such a learning curve!

To quote &P Canine Academy, she's better at playing than me 🫣😂 but I'm loving bringing more of her lessons into my work with your dogs!

It's okay if your dog doesn't want to greet every dog!

"Dog tolerant" is when a dog's comfortable around other dogs but isn't interested in interacting. It's NOT reactivity, where they'll bark and lunge at calm dogs passing by.

Most young dogs are very social but it's common for them to transition to dog tolerance as they mature. I get a lot of enquiries from people who think their dog is becoming reactive when they're really just making this transition.

Charlotte is dog tolerant- she isn't afraid to set boundaries with rude dogs but she's happy to coexist with any dog that respects her personal space 🐾

I take your dog out Mon-Fri for intensive training then at the weekend we do a 121 to help you maintain their progress 😊
