HOME BOARDING

Our customers often ask if we offer home boarding, and I have to tell them that we don't. This is because we have dogs of our own and the process of obtaining a local authority license, combined with the associated costs, simply means that it isn't viable with our business model. Subject to availability, we are able to offer pet sitting in the customer's own home, but this doesn't always fit with their needs.
We have a long established association with Rozia Anderson at PetMates, and would urge anyone needing Home Boarding to contact her directly. She is licensed and 5* rated by Leeds City Council. If she is unable to help, please make sure that you are using a licensed professional. So many people get caught out with platforms that promote Home Boarding from individuals who are neither licensed nor insured, assuming that the umbrella cover offered by these platforms covers them when, in fact, it does not.

Owing to the ongoing rising fuel costs, it is anticipated that the government will shortly announce a return to the "Work From Home" initiative so a group of local dog walkers have commissioned a bus service to collect dogs from local pick up points. It will be the owner's responsibility to ensure their dogs are at the pick up points at the appointed pick up time. Under no circumstances should dogs be tethered or left unattended at pick up point and the driver must be informed which dog walker they are collecting the dogs for. Routes and time tables are still in the development stages and pick up points will be clearly visible on the app which can be downloaded in advance using the attached QR code.
