Meanwood Valley Urban Farm is a charity established in 1980 to provide a 'taste of the country' within the city boundaries. It provides educational services to disadvantaged young people and adults and offers environmental education to primary school children. It is a working farm with a wide variety of animals, amenity and market gardens and a range of natural habitats. Many of the animals can be seen from close quarters and fresh farm eggs can be bought in the Farm Shop. There is a small play area for under 12s and the independently-run Barn Coffee Shop is also located on the Farm. In addition to the animals, there are several woodland walks including a longer walk into the Scott Hall Copse at the far end of the Farm.

Just so you aware the weather is looking poor on Sunday so the Farm will be closed to the public. The predicted wind gusts are very strong so we have taken the decision to close on Sunday. The The Barn Coffee Shop will remain open.
We are open as normal on Saturday and Monday.

Come along for live music from , , The Meanwood Session Band, and DJ Fraser. Enjoy PAYF hot food from , Pizza from , a PAYF bar with MVUF C***r, apple juice and MVUF hops brewed by . A raffle with great prizes from local businesses, apple bobbing, dancing and lots of fun!
