Betty’s pups two and a half weeks. Eyes open reacting to sound and lifting their heads, amazing 🥰

Sleeping on a camp bed in a conservatory next to a bright white heat lamp is difficult enough however when Betty decides to wake you up by jumping on your chest it takes things to another level 😂. The puppies need to be watched at all times Betty says 😂

Puppy snuggles with one of the grandchildren today ❤️

Well I can definitely say the puppies are Betty babies! Taking after their mother for getting into trouble 🤣. They kept getting stuck in the box corners so I put water bottles in to deflect them. Nope, we can find other ways to get stuck 🤣

Today just proves you should never turn your back for a second with puppies. Betty and Gretel had an awful fight with Betty ending up at the vets. It looked like a chainsaw massacre had happened! Luckily the pups were not harmed. The two girls both wanted the pups and it led to a real showdown. Everyone bloodied and bruised but safe now.

I put the puppies in a temporary bed while I change the bedding in the whelping box. Even here they manage to get a drink from mum 😂

So daddy Captain is getting closer and really can’t stop watching his children. Betty still a bit protective but getting calmer. Won’t be long before everyone is playing together, carnage 🤣

At last the results of the naming competion. I had nearly 100 suggestions! The winner is Amy Dickinson with Derdledash Glossy Obsidian, Derdledash Rare Ebony and Derdledash Shiny Raven. Perfect for Black and Tan. If you didn’t win and would like a copy of Betty’s book do go to the website at www.bettybooboobooks.co.uk

Week old yesterday! Weigh day today and all three have gained about 400g wow they really are whoppers 😂

Who can believe it the puppies are a whole week old today. Betty is getting more used to her duties to the point now where she is a little laise faire with her leg. What leg she says 🤣
