Two very different cats, with very similar beginnings ❤️
Teddy and Robbie may be very different in personality, but they share a similar story. Both found themselves living on the streets with no home to return to at the end of the day. Thankfully, kind people stepped in to care for them until they could come into our care, where they are now waiting for their forever homes.
They are looking for separate homes, but we wanted to bring their stories together because, despite their differences, they have very similar beginnings — and they’ve both been waiting far too long for someone to choose them. 💜
🐾 Teddy
3 year old Teddy is an affectionate and sociable boy who, after being a little nervous at first, has discovered just how much he loves human company.
These days, Teddy can often be found bouncing around looking for attention from our volunteers. He loves nothing more than jumping into their arms for the best cuddles, before eventually settling down on their knees for some quieter one-to-one time.
Having spent time living outside, Teddy did need a little while to adjust to using his litter tray. With patience, routine and consistency, he is doing much better and continues to make lovely progress.
Teddy is a gorgeous, loving boy who has so much affection to give, and after 140 days in our care, we would love to see him find the safe and loving home he deserves. ❤️
🐾 Robbie
5 year old Robbie is a more independent boy who enjoys having the best of both worlds.
He loves the comforts of home — a cosy bed and a warm pair of knees when he feels like some company — but he also enjoys having the freedom to explore and do his own thing.
Robbie is very food-motivated (perhaps a little too motivated! 😂) and is still learning that human food isn’t always for him and that he can’t simply help himself. We’re sure that, with time, patience and some boundaries, he’ll learn that he doesn’t need to become a professional food thief!
His intelligence really shines through when it comes to enrichment. Robbie has mastered every food enrichment activity we’ve given him so far, quickly working out exactly what he needs to do to get his reward.
Robbie is a clever, characterful boy who knows his own mind and would love a home where he can enjoy both companionship and independence.
He has now been in our care for 240 days, and we really hope his wait for a forever home won’t have to continue for much longer. 💜
