Could you foster a greyhound looking for a home this Volunteers’ Week?

Fostering gives a greyhound the chance to experience home comforts, build confidence, and get used to the sights, sounds and smells of life outside of the kennels while they wait for their forever family.

We’re always in need of foster carers whether you already have a dog at home or not, and it’s a hugely rewarding way to support the greyhounds in our care.

Would just like to personally thank the customers of the Bay Horse in Farsley who have been helping to raise some funds through the purchase of dog treats in the bar

Everything helps and this really makes sure we can still help those greyhounds who are not able to be homed or have medical conditions which require our financial support.

I know a few personal friends drink in there so put this post on my own page as well so they could see the thank you.

Good Afternoon

We don’t want to tell people how to suck eggs but with the sudden increase of temperature this weekend and the possible continued high temperatures next week we thought we should just do a gentle reminder.

As our old girl couldn’t wait to get out in the sunshine this morning it was fairly soon that we knew it was already too warm for her.

Please keep an eye on your greyhound at all times and be sure to make sure plenty of water available and some shade in places of your garden in outside
