6.3 tonnes of packaging waste recycled so far this year!! 🐎♻️👏🏼

Last year, we recycled 5.8 tonnes and set ourselves a target of recycling over 7 tonnes by the end of 2026. Well, this year, you guys have absolutely smashed it, and we’re now SO close to reaching our target! 🙌🏼

As we head into the busier winter months, we know more and more packaging will be generated from winter stabling, making it even more important that it finds its way to the right places to be recycled. ♻️

So, how can you help? 💚

🚛 If your delivery is carried out by our own transport team, simply have your used packaging ready for collection, and our drivers will bring it back to HQ for recycling.

♻️ If your UNIBED delivery arrives via a third-party haulier, our packaging is made from LDPE, which many local councils accept in household recycling bins (but please double-check with your local council first!). If it’s not accepted locally, many supermarkets also offer soft plastic recycling points, so pop your packaging in the car and drop it off when you head out for your weekly shop!

A HUGE thank you to everyone who has already got involved in our packaging recycling scheme. Your efforts are making a real difference, and we’re so grateful for your support! 💚

We’re so close to our target, so let’s keep it going! Every bag returned and every piece of packaging recycled helps us get one step closer.

The wonderful coach that is Lucy Jackson heads to Somerford Park Farm this month, a new venue for these amazing clinics!

There are plenty of clinics up and down the country and don’t forget, the Thoroughbred Aftercare Programme website has lots of online resources that are free to access too.

We couldn’t be more proud of this programme if we tried 💚

We want to be an extension of your team, your yard or simply a friendly voice at the end of the phone, catching up as you get stocked up this winter.

Our team are here to help. Simply give us a call and we’ll see what we can do - 07719554867 ☎️
