I had a lovely long weekend with these two cuddly boys last week☺️ It was full of playtime, cuddles, happy faces and wagging tails 🐶 I look forward to next time🥰

🚨Extreme weather 🚨

The amount of people I’ve seen walking their dog today in 32 degree heat on hot pavements is absolutely horrendous. I could see the dogs struggling and panting while the owners were oblivious to their dog’s cry for help. Keep your dogs inside, there’s no reason for you to be walking your dog at the hottest parts of the day. I genuinely feel so sad for the dogs that have to suffer due to their owners bad decisions.

This excludes the owners that don’t have a garden or live in apartments and need to give their dogs a toilet break. A quick toilet break on a patch of grass is absolutely fine but then they should be taken back inside.

-Early morning or late evening walks

- Keep them inside during the hottest parts of the day

- Provide shade and fresh water

- Avoid hot pavements (If you can’t keep your hand on the pavement for 5 seconds it is too hot for your dogs paws)

- Regularly groom your dog (Brush away excess hair)

- Use fans to circulate the air and close blinds/curtains to block direct sunlight

- Provide cooling mats or encourage them to lay on cool surfaces

I’ve recently had the pleasure of taking care of 3 dogs and a cat for a week! I absolutely love all of their individual personalities🐾 I don’t think they realise how big they are either as they love to cuddle on your knee😆 They’re just the cutest bunch☺️ see you next time!

Back to regular scheduled programming next week🌦️ I can’t wait to get back in to my normal routine with the dogs again, I’ve been doing short early AM walks and visits throughout the day this week for my lovely clients to keep them safe and cool as possible 🐶 I’m sure they’ll be happy to get their routine back too 😊

I’ve had the pleasure of doing morning and evening visits over the past 10 days for this angel☺️ She has the most amazing temperament and has definitely come out of her shell since the last time I visited her, can’t believe her progress😊 I can’t wait to see her again🐾

I’ve just finished a lovely week long pet sit with Milo🐾 I love having him as a regular dog sitting client, he’s getting a bit older now but still absolutely loves his walks(typical spaniel😆) He also loves some attention and a cuddle ☺️
