🌾🐶 What are grass seeds, and why are they so dangerous?

They might look harmless, but grass seeds are sharp little seeds that can easily attach to your dog’s coat during walks. The real problem? Once they get in, they don’t come back out… they only move forward. 😣

That means they can burrow into the skin, causing pain, infections, abscesses. and in some cases, even require surgery to remove.

We recently found grass seeds during a groom that had already started to pe*****te the skin, and the dog had to be sent straight to the vets. This is exactly why regular grooming and thorough checks are so important.

At home, always check your dog after walks, especially between toes, ears, armpits, groin, and any fluffy areas where they love to hide.

And when your dog comes in for a groom, we don’t just make them look good, we give them a full hands-on health check too. ❤️

Early detection really can make all the difference.
