Lenny the whippet loving life this morning! Absolutely love these videos and photos. And a lovely message from his owner:-

"We had a lovely walk in the field this morning at 7am! The sunlight was so lovely and the peace meant we could hear all those birds! Thank you for sharing such a wonderful slice of doggy heaven with us 🥰😘"

I have to share this wonderful photo from my cousin.
1967 - my Great Grandad at his farm in South Africa (I was born in SA) surrounded by his dogs. Dutch & Duchess (the St Bernard and St B cross). We think the two at the front are Schipperkes, a breed I’d never heard of. And a Daxie at the back watching over everything!
A love of dogs is in the family genes ☺️🐾

📣 LOOKING FOR SOMETHING TO DO THIS SUNDAY? 📣
Here are 2 ideas you might fancy….

🐶 Hereford and Worcester Animal Rescue are holding their annual dog show which is always a great event. I’m sponsoring Best Puppy class (but sadly can’t be there due to cataract surgery tomorrow - send positive vibes please)
Please take cash if possible for the classes, in case the signal’s dodgy
🐕‍🦺 Munsley church (next to the field) have their pet service at 9.30am. All pets are welcome - dogs on a lead please

😎 Beautiful morning. The grass is greening up so fast - nice to have a field looking like a field again!!

🚨🚨PLEASE READ 🚨🚨
I didn’t want to start September with a negative post but sadly I have to.
🚭 At the weekend, a customer picked up six cigarette butts in the field. This is totally unacceptable. Smoking is NOT permitted anywhere on the site, including the toilet. This is clearly stated in the ts and cs, and on field signage. Not only does this show complete disrespect, it poses a serious fire risk with such tinder-dry grass we have had for the last few months.
If you’re not willing to respect the no smoking rule, please do not book the field.
💩 Sadly, I have noticed a definite increase in the amount of poo not being picked up over the past few weeks. A few customers have also commented to me about this too. Please keep a close eye on your dogs and pick up their poo.
There are spare poo bags in the shelter tin if you run out.
🐶 Let’s keep the field clean and enjoyable for us all!
Thanks everyone
