After a great deal of thought, I’ve decided to take an indefinite break from breeding.
I’ve always said that if I ever reached a point where I felt I could no longer breed to the very high standards I expect from myself, or where I could not be completely certain my cats would always have the very best without compromise, then I would stop before allowing that to happen.
Breeding responsibly requires an enormous amount of time, energy, emotional investment and financial resource, and I feel the right thing to do now is to step back while I can still say I have always done my absolute best for my cats.
I’ve shown my cats with dedication and passion, experienced both the highs and the hardships that come with breeding, and despite everything, I honestly would not trade the experience for anything. If anything, it has made me more resilient, taught me a great deal, and allowed me to meet some truly wonderful people along the way.
I remain incredibly proud of the cats I’ve bred and deeply grateful to the families who have trusted me with their pets.
As a result of this decision, I will have a small number of kittens who had originally been under evaluation now becoming available to carefully chosen pet homes. If you are looking for a British Blue, please feel free to get in touch privately.
I will also, rather reluctantly, be looking for loving homes for a couple of adults. They are very special to me, so finding the right homes will matter enormously.
