Silverlight Stables are starting to think about finding a new family member… 7 months after loosing our big, elderly gentleman and having had just the two ponies on the yard since. We’re feeling a bit lonely and quiet and want a new herd friend for us all. - Ponies and humans alike!
Looking for something between 14-16hh, aged 5-15, mare or gelding but not mareish or silly in anyway as we have a neurotic dog, pet sheep, children around site and the two ponies here are mad enough without anymore sass (particularly the small ginger stallion)! 🤣🧡
Something sane, sensible, safe and sound. Something that is happy to travel solo, get out and also be left solo sometimes for a couple of hours whilst others are ridden. Something the ponies can look up to and be best friends with.
Not looking for anything that looks like Thunder or Hamish, we need fresh colour here after loosing our legend and want to see something different around the yard.
An allrounder- I want to be able to jump and do some small local shows/dressage but not out every weekend jumping huge levels. Equally we want something that the kids can handle and brush, and something novices and friends can pop on for a poodle or to share so that they can hack out with me on Thunder.
Don’t mind a bit of sass ridden or something that is a bit of a project. Not keen on TBs as use to more solid types. Like ISH, Sports Cobs, love a freisian but show me a Shire, Cyclesdale or Haffy and I’m sold without even meeting them 🙈🤣. But I’d like something that has a bit more speed and scope for myself, after looking after Hamish for 17 odd years and hanging up my jumping shoes! 🤣💪🏻🤪.
We can offer- a forever home, private yard, love, safety and care. Good hacking, a school, trailer for adventures, physio, farrier and dentist regularly seen as well as weigh bridge. Regularly ridden each week, come rain, snow or shine - we will always do something varied. Lots of adventures and spoilt by all our yard visitors, friends and family. Two crazy pony brothers and owners who will put their animals before anything else. We also have little paddocks and can cater to specialist needs like EMS if needed.
Looking for low 4🥕’s and relatively local. The ponies can’t be unsupervised for too long for us to gallavant accross the country and we just don’t have that kind of time🤣. Could do a loan or lwvtb but we’re not really the loaning type so would fall in love 🤪.
Willing to wait and find the right fit. Have been quietly searching for the last 7 months but only one horse advert has come close to what we want so we are not rushing into anything. Comprisable on some things but others non-negotiable.
