No dog is too old no problem too big or small. I work on a home visit basis so i can meet you and your dog in your own environment where you are both at your most relaxed. As most behavioural problems occur in the home or on your local walks i find this to be the best approach. Price depends on location please feel free to ask without any obligation.

Beautiful Basil the wirehaired dachshund 😍
As is fairly typical of the breed Basil had a lot to say for himself in an extremely loud voice! 🙉 He's learning shouting won't get you what you want.
He also had a lesson in walking nicely on a loose lead which he aced! 🏆

I've been doubly lucky, a recent visit to see a puppy as well as her being one of my favourite breeds 😍
Stunning 10week old Pointer pup Olive is setting in brilliantly with big sister Lucca showing her the ropes (sort of! 😆)
What a little cutie pie she is!!

Lovely labrador puppy Asha was getting out of control with her biting and jumping.
Some calm discipline was put in place along with clearer boundaries as well as alternative outlets for her energy and hopefully some more doggie play dates too 😊🐾💕

I recently visited four-year-old Jack Russell Bella, who was struggling with excessive barking around the home — particularly when visitors arrived, and when she spotted things outside.

She was also getting very vocal and reactive when encountering other dogs out and about.

We worked on creating boundaries and practical strategies to help Bella stay calmer, and give her owners the tools to handle these situations more confidently.

Another little terrier learning that barking and kicking off isn’t always the answer! 😀🐾🐾

🐾 Puppy Visit Today! 🐾

Today I met Sylvie a beautiful little 14-week-old Labrador puppy who is just beginning to find her feet in the world.
It's a common misconception that "They're only a puppy, they'll grow out of it," but the reality is that the behaviours we allow now often become the habits we live with later. A little guidance in those early weeks can make a huge difference.

This little Labrador has a fantastic future ahead, and with the right foundations in place now, I'm sure she'll grow into a happy, well-mannered adult.. Early training really is one of the best investments you can make. 🐶🥰

I had the pleasure of meeting a gorgeous 16-month-old Irish Water Spaniel this week – a breed I don't get to work with very often, so it was a real treat!

Like many young, intelligent sporting breeds, he's full of enthusiasm and loves being out exploring. His biggest challenge is a touch of selective recall when something more exciting catches his attention. With a high prey drive, squirrels, birds and interesting scents can suddenly become much more important than coming back when called!

His owner was also concerned that he'd recently taken a dislike to one or two particular dogs in the village, These situations can often develop during adolescence, so it's important to address them early before they become an established habit.

Double trouble! 🐾🐾 💙💙
Cocker Spaniel brothers Sam and Bruce are 9mths old and a real handful!
While i would never recommend getting two pups from the same litter and no reputable breeder should either, I'm confident we can get these two on the right track.
They are having a few scraps and guarding people and toys from one another resulting in a chaotic and uncomfortable household.
With their dedicated owners and some simple changes they are calmer already which bodes well , good puppies!! 😍

Today I met Charlie, a gorgeous three-year-old chocolate Labrador with a heart of gold and enough enthusiasm to power a small village! 🐾🤎

Charlie's family got in touch because he simply couldn't switch off. Everything was exciting! Visitors arriving meant jumping up, barging into everyone's personal space, getting mouthy and nipping through excitement, and generally finding it impossible to relax.

We focused on helping Charlie understand that calm behaviour gets the rewards, teaching him better manners around visitors, creating healthy boundaries, and giving clear consistent consequences when he went too far.

Top job Charlie you were so keen and quick to learn!!! 🤎

Another gorgeous puppy visit this week! 🐾

I had the pleasure of meeting a lovely 14-week-old Cavapoo who, like so many puppies of this age, was keeping his family on their toes!

We worked through all the usual puppy challenges – nipping those hands and clothes, barking for attention, learning to be happy when left alone, coming back when called, and generally figuring out what is and isn't acceptable in his new world.

It's so important to remember that puppies aren't being "naughty" – they're simply learning. With the right guidance, consistency, and plenty of patience, these early weeks lay the foundations for a confident, well-mannered adult dog.
A little help early on can prevent small problems from becoming big ones later.

This stunning Red Fox Labrador is Pancake he's almost 9 years old and is the sweetest most gentle soul that I've met in a long time 💙

He has spent most of his life living in kennels, first as a stud dog then as a gun dog meaning he’s never really had the opportunity to learn what it’s like to be part of a home environment.

Now he’s facing the challenge of adjusting to a completely new way of life. He’s an anxious boy and is struggling with toilet training because these everyday routines are all new to him.

With patience, understanding and support from his lovely new mum, he is slowly learning that pees and poops are done outside and inside has all the home comforts he so deserves.

Helping dogs like Pancake is so rewarding. Every small step forward is a huge achievement, and every dog deserves the chance to feel secure, loved and understood. 🐾
