Hershey is as sweet as her name- a total love bug! Hershey loves to please her people and would do just about anything for a treat or even belly rubs. Hi everyone, my name's Alpha! I am so excited to introduce myself to you today. Golden Heart Rescuers saved my life a few months ago when I was dumped in a kill shelter in Plymouth at 9 months old. Since then, I have learned how to be a real dog. I was once a very shy and reserved girl, cowering in any corner where I had the chance to. Now, after the proper TLC in my foster home, I have blossomed into the amazing, playful, curious girl I am today!
I am 13 months old and 53 pounds. I am a Merle Cane Corso Mix Female and will be a nice large size once fully grown. In my foster home, it was the other confident dogs that truly helped me gain all the confidence I have today. Because of this, it is really important I go to a forever home with another dog or multiple canine pals for me to learn from and be my best friend!
Some fun facts about me:
⭐️ I am super smart and food-motivated which makes training a breeze
🎾 Tennis balls are my absolute favorite to chase and play with, especially the squeaky ones!
✅ I am housebroken and sleep through the night without making a peep
🐶 I LOVE to play with other dogs - they're so much fun!
🥰 Cuddling up to my foster mom or siblings on the couch is one of my favorite pastimes too

Did you hear the news? Jafar is on the search for his forever home! This big-eared boy is a 13-week-old chihuahua. At just 13 weeks old and currently weighing about 4 pounds, this little girl has a lot of growing to do. She was rescued from Bath, along with her mum. She is a smart pup who is already getting the hang of her crate, leash, and house training in her foster home!

Fiona is the most confident and outgoing of her kind. She gets along with dogs of all sizes - don't let her small size fool you - She knows how to stand her ground! Fiona is extremely food and toy-motivated which makes training a breeze. She enjoys learning to walk properly on a leash and is doing quite well with it too. Fiona is one smart cookie!

Rex-y boy is awaiting his forever home! Rex is a tri-colored 1.5-year-old German Shepherd mix patiently awaiting his forever family here in Launceston. At 56 pounds, Rex is done growing and is the perfect large, lean and athletic size. Rex has a great deal of energy despite his adult age - he is a puppy in an adult’s body! Rex loves nothing more than going for long walks/runs with his foster parents and exploring his foster’s fenced-in yard. A large fenced-in backyard in his forever home is a must for this boy. Rex is very obedient and loyal to his people. He only wants to please and is very quick to catch onto new commands/corrections. A family with children who enjoy playtime as much as this boy does would be perfect. He would also do well in a home with another dog, as this boy loves his canine friends! Rex is primarily housebroken and crate trained (although he really does not need one). Rex is doing very well with his leash training too. All that is left is for Rex to find the forever family of his dreams!

Lara is a very easy-going, friendly, and playful girl. She loves all people and gives the best cuddles and puppy kisses. Older children would be best for this playful girl who enjoys games of fetch and snuggles on the couch. Lara is very excitable, even at 4 years old, and loves playing with squeaky toys! She sleeps through the whole night on a dog bed and does not need to be crated.

She adores long walks and loves playing in the fenced-in yard, so a fenced yard in her forever home would be ideal. Lara also enjoys car rides and sits quietly in the back or front looking out the window. She loves to go everywhere with her foster parents! Lara enjoys meeting dogs on walks and loves playtime with her 2 canine foster siblings. She will make the perfect canine sibling in her forever home.
