🐾 Welcome Goldie, Fred & Barney to the Pack! 🐾

A big welcome to Goldie, Fred and Barney, three Labradors who joined us for 28 days of Holiday Walks! 🐶🐶🐶💛

Holiday Walks are a bonus service we now offer for when you're away. For 28 days straight we were in with the boys at home — feeding, exercise, garden kept clean and tidy, and the same dedicated walker every single visit. 🏡🐾

And just when we thought we were finished… we had them again for another long weekend. 😄

The best part was doing it all at their own home, even though they sit outside our usual walking area. It meant we really got to know the three of them — how Goldie settles, what Fred's like on the ball, when Barney's had enough — instead of just turning up and leaving again.

Their family got a walk report after every visit too, so while they were away they knew exactly how the boys were getting on. ❤️

We've loved having these three, and we're already looking forward to the next time. 🐾💛

🐾 Every walk has a story.

Some walks are all about meeting new friends.

Some are about exploring somewhere different.

Some are simply a chance to switch off, enjoy the fresh air and have a good wander.

And then there are the walks where absolutely anything can happen. 😂

That’s what we love about Pet Friends — no two dogs are the same, and no two days are exactly the same either.

From the smallest pups to the biggest personalities, we’re out every day doing what we love and making plenty of memories along the way. 🐶💛

🐾 Did someone say big dogs?

And little ones… & puppies… & some nervous and more challenging pups too. 👀

Safe to say, we done it all this week! 😂🐶

One of the best things about what we do is that every dog is different. Some are big, some are tiny, some are full of confidence, and some just need a little more patience and understanding.

A big thank you as well to everyone who recommends us when they come across a dog that needs a bit more help — especially when other options haven’t worked out.

We’ve made some new Pet Friends this week, and honestly… wow. 💛

🐾 THE LONGEST DAY.

8:52am — optimism. He thinks they've forgotten something. 11:48am — watching a wall. Not a window. A wall. 2:55pm — six hours. To him, that's most of a week.

School's back. Everyone got the memo except the dog. 😭

"How much is a dog walker, anyway?"

We get asked that question all the time, and most people have already been around the houses trying to work it out — £8 on an app, £20 from a professional service, and no clue what the difference actually is.

So we've written it all down. Real Northern Ireland prices for group walks, solo walks, puppy visits and weekly plans. What makes the number go up or down. Our own rates in Larne, in the open — no "contact us for pricing".

And the five questions worth asking anyone before you hand over your dog and your house key. The first one catches most people out: will the same person walk my dog every time?

Because there's a difference between your dog being walked and your dog being looked after. 🐾
