It’s a hot week. Once it gets over 20degrees dog people start thinking about what they need to do. This week we utilise the three S’s : Slow, Shady and Short. As a dog walker I try to be as flexible as possible, earlier and later walks, garden let outs and plenty of water. All dogs will be taking Marnie’s lead and having a sit down frequently.
Dog still need a wee and a poo, they need interactive play and new smells, they need brainwork, some prefer to do that on a short walk, some prefer a garden. If it does reach that high dangerous temperature that harms we will, of course, cancel walks.
