Especially dogs who are:

⚠ Reactive
⚠ Strong on lead
⚠ Poor with recall
⚠ Easily overstimulated
⚠ Fearful around dogs or people
These dogs don’t need judgement.
They need knowledgeable handling.
At Doggy Adventures, many of the dogs we work with have quirks, triggers or behavioural challenges.
And because of my own experience with Mylo, that’s something incredibly close to my heart ❤️

🐾 Wet weather all day
🐾 Getting body-slammed by Labradors
🐾 Scratches all over your arms
🐾 Slobber literally everywhere
🐾 Constant cleaning
🐾 Managing group dynamics
🐾 Heavy lifting
🐾 Van loading logistics

And doing all of that while staying: ✔ Calm ✔ Focused ✔ Safety-conscious ✔ Responsible ✔ Patient
Dogs don’t care if you’re tired.

They still need: Exercise. Stimulation. Training reinforcement. Safe socialisation. Structure.

If you’re struggling with your dog right now…
I want you to know something important:
You are not alone ❤️

So many owners feel ashamed to admit they’re finding things hard.
But behind closed doors, many are dealing with: 🐾 Reactivity 🐾 Anxiety 🐾 Overexcitement 🐾 Pulling on the lead 🐾 Lack of confidence 🐾 Isolation 🐾 Guilt about not doing enough
I know because I lived it with Mylo.

And that experience shaped everything about Doggy Adventures.
This business was built for: The overwhelmed owners. The rescue dogs. The “difficult” dogs. The anxious dogs. The people trying their best.

Of course we love the fun adventures, muddy walks and happy group photos.
But underneath all that is something much more important:
Understanding.

Mylo taught me that progress is possible.

Before Mylo, I honestly don’t think Doggy Adventures would exist.
He changed the entire course of my life.

When I rescued him, all I wanted was for him to become a “normal” dog.
I wanted him to:
🐾 Walk nicely on a lead
🐾 Have dog friends
🐾 Play confidently
🐾 Feel safe in the world
🐾 Relax and enjoy life
At the start, that felt impossible.

But little by little, day by day… he changed.
Or maybe we changed together.

Over time, Mylo became the heart of Doggy Adventures.
Many of you will remember him leading the group walks like he owned the place 😂
He absolutely loved being out with his friends every day.
He became our supervisor. Our character. Our comic relief. My shadow.
And after everything he’d overcome, seeing him finally happy and fulfilled meant everything to me.
Sadly, as many of you know, we lost Mylo last year 💔

But what comforts me is knowing the life he had in the end was the best life possible.
Adventure. Friendship. Purpose. Love.

A dog once written off as “too much” ended up changing hundreds of dogs’ lives through Doggy Adventures.
